Just out of curiosity, how does he get past Captain Marvel? Didn't they arm wrestle before? Am I missing something here? I thought they stalemated? Please explain.

Superman's had power-ups since.

He may have the capacity to summon strength in times of need, but his starting point would be so far below world breaker that he would lose before that capability ever came out. Not to mention Hulks got a bit of a reputation for increasing his strength as well.

Leo is a trip. He isn't beating average Hulk in a strength lock and he sure as hell isn't beating WBH. Get your love out of here Leo.

That was not the case when he arm wrestled CM. He was clearly under stress and they were equals trying to see who was stronger if any one of them were actually stronger. Neither could out muscle the other. There was NOTHING ever mentioned about superman being able to win by unlocking anything. Superman knew he and Marvel were equals or too close to call. If marvel or anyone else knew superman had dynamic strength, iMarvel and the writers would not waste their time.

Yep. He couldn't even break the dragons grip.

Under stress, but he didn't die, or even faint, like he did when he emptied his tank all over Doomsday.

So stalemating Billy, when he still had plenty in the tank left to give, is impressive. Imagine if he went all out.

The same can be said about Billy. Imagine if Billy went all out. He also had plenty in his tank to give.

Did he? When has Billy given it his all, and how do you know it was his all?

Looking for tank emptying showings, mind.

Want to see something that's neat? Eclipso took control of Superman's body and was in a strength lock against Captain Marvel. We all know Eclipso doesn't hold back, he even admits this during the fight and Cap was still able to stalemate him in a strength lock. You can see the strain in their words...

This isn't the only time this happened either.

Also, Cap was holding back as said in his words and he was still able to catch a punch.

Yeah, some dynamic strength huh? Funny how superman himself contradicts his fans beliefs.

Yay, lowballing...

Can't agree with you there friend, I think Superman could handle most versions of Hulk in strength, drawing the line somewhere around WWH.

Everyone have every right to their own opinion, even if it is wrong. Legit question because I'm honestly unsure. Has anyone ever overpowered Hulk (without context) or outright sat in one spot tanking his punches? I read a lot of Hulk but not everything.

Well Thor for one.

And he's too close to Thor in his classic years in strength for me to think Superman can't trump him, Superman is about as elite as they come when it comes to physical stats.

I admit, Classic yrs you have an argument but these characters have changed since then and even back during those days, Hulk was still the strongest being in Marvel. This has been outright stated on multiple of occasions...

And he isn't called this due to versatility either. No one is doubting Superman strength but Hulk is above him imo.
