And he isn't called this due to versatility either. No one is doubting Superman strength but Hulk is above him imo.

I say I can't see him winning at most versions of himself because even if he's the strongest hero in marvel high herald and below, excluding a few versions, Superman would arguably still be above those versions. To me its WWH and up where you can really say, alright, he's in a different strength class bow.

Oh and if you're implying that being called the strongest makes him top dog, well that's of course not true either. He needs more than what he's got to contend with true elites like Thor or Surfer when theyre willing to whip out their powerset. at least most of his incarnations.

That scan wasn't Hulk talking though. That came directly from the narrator. And yes, Hulk would win in a contest of strength. Of course Grey Hulk is excluded but any other Hulk I would put in a different tier physically minus Professor Hulk. I'm basing this off of what I've seen from both...their achievements and their failures physically.

Disagree with your second post. Superman is peers to people physically in DC that Hulk is above physically. I wouldn't put Superman above Hyperion in strength but Hickman, Hyperion creator outright admitted that Savage Hulk is stronger than Hyperion. Hell, he said Hulk is physically the strongest being on his team.

Oh carver, Eclipso flat out said he didn't want to hurt Cap as he wanted to take over his body. This happened when Eclipso actually fought Cap to beat him.

Cap was literally beaten near death and had to be hospitalized.

Maybe I missed it but could you show me what you're talking about? I saw him called one of the strongest , but I think you're talking about something more impressive.

Hmm, Gonna have to agree to disagree I suppose. I like superman but the extensive feat war argument that could result from this isn't in my energy reserves for the day lol.

Read the scan above. It outright states that Hulk is the most powerful entity alive. Also, here is the comment Hickman made about Hulk strength vs the Avengers...

I'm primarily debating Savage. I'm not even discussing the Hulk's that are more powerful.

Also, Aaron said the same thing. Hell, he one upped it and said Hulk is the most powerful being in the Universe. Hickman even states that he doesn't use Hulk in his books a lot because the character is too powerful. Writer have high opinions of Hulk...extreme high.

Writers opinions don't matter as much as on panel displays of power. The walk should always be worth more than the talk. Because other than confirming ambiguous events in their comics, their opinions are no more valid than a level headed forum poster.
