Caught this last week, it utterly sucked because the story wasn't anything special, the action was repeats of what we've seen, the acting abysmal, the fan-service insulting and the new villain, 'the Mexinater', was a loosely disguised knockoff out of T3.

The sensitive males who autistically cried about "social justice!!1!!" ruining the film/franchise, nah, it was just a poorly thought out film, it happens.

"Mexinater" lol

Linda Hamilton "Would Be Quite Happy to Never Return" to 'Terminator'

Good 👆

^ If you actually read it she would like a smaller version of Terminator with a not so big budget that they've been going with

if that doesn't happened then that would be it for her.

Yeah, I read that. I just don't see the Terminator series downgrading to a low-budget cult status. If anything they'll go back to a PG-13 rating because Genisys made more money.

I can see that with the studio, Too stupid to go with a smaller budget

also the first movie only had $78 mil for its budget and it was R rated.

The series will inevitably get rebooted down the road. But they really should stick to the post apocalyptic setting, and really make it as grimey and gritty as they can. I’d love a movie about a group of battle heartened soldiers, who have lost loved ones fighting desperately against SKYNET. It should be with an entirely new cast, make the Terminators a threat again, and be totally independent of John, Arnold, and the Connor arcs. There’s so much they can do

No studio would risk a large budget on this again. It was dumb AF to take that risk with this one.

If a quality movie has a small enough budget they can make decent profit whilst slowly increasing excitement for the franchise again.

Agree basically 100% with RLM on this one. They nailed it.

^ This is not a bad idea if done right

Even having it take place not in or near Los Angeles, maybe a group of human fighters in Middle America or the East Coast. No connection to John Connor etc., no deep plot twist, just a fight for survival against an implacable enemy.

this could work if written well.

lol...

LINDA HAMILTON WANTED FAT SARAH CONNER IN TERMINATOR: DARK FATE

Even fat Sarah Conner couldn't have saved this film.

I wish fat Sarah Conner had at least tried. 🙁

😂

Salvation was trying something new but didn't make it.

Why did they treat John Connor so badly? Last movie he was turned into a villain and this one simply killed him off from the beginning.

Mackenzie Davis is quite beautiful, not sure why she looks like shit in the movie.

This movie was meant to be the actual 3rd Terminator and they still messed it up.

The role didn’t call for her to be all dolled up.

Maybe in the next movie we could have a Terminator who becomes a pro bodybuilder after that he becomes a movie Star.....
