Being phased by Kitty is having your molecules fused with the object your being phased to. That's why Hulk was bleeding and had bits of stone coming off his phased limbs.
Doomsday can heal something fierce too, but seeing as how a blow to the head killed him, having his head fused fused into something should do the trick as well. Once.
Unless there are some phasing feats for him out there?

Galan thinks being phased into the ground is the same as being buried 👆
I simply think that DD's physiologic composition is such that phasing wouldn't affect him to the point of death and/or prolonged incapacitation. Any noteworthy damage sustained from the phasing(if there was any) would be healed rather swiftly via his HF, imo. So in that sense, phasing DD into the ground *would* be the same as burying him... Which only equates to a momentary setback for him.
Got it now, or do you have more faux-dickery to throw my way..? 👆

👆 I'm good.
And surprisingly no one has pointed out that while Doomsday only needed a moments (or more) to dig out, Juggernaut needed 15 years.
And Supergirl was phased completely in rock and the pieces actually embedded in her skin.

Grey Hulk has actually "shaken off" being turned into stone, Hulk even uses the term "shake off" after being completely turned into stone
And yet, the Gamma Corps managed to devolve WWH to Gray, and snapped his neck.
Yet, I have seen incarnations of Hulk supposedly weaker than WWH 'shake off' such attacks.
All this talk makes me wish there had been a WWH-esque Doomsday story. I mean, DOS is really good, but if something like this had been a prelude, that could have been something special.
On topic though, no, I don't think phasing him is going to do much but slow him down. The X-Men have only one real chance imo, and that's telepathy. Doing what Black did. Assuming that would even work on him.
^ Being phased into stone and surviving is far inferior than "shrugging off" being matter manipulated into another substance completely, not to mention in the weakest state of the character (other than Banner who was initially transformed into stone)
When else does a more apt series of scans get to be posted? Had to do it
