This movie didn’t really do that, or didn’t do it very well at any rate.

We got to see Atom Smasher’s uncle (the Fonz).
Cyclone mentioned being kidnapped by a villain.
Hawkman and Fate alluded to a long friendship.

All those things fell flat for me though.

The closest for me was Fate talking about his long life, and that worked mostly because of Pierce Brosnan’s delivery.

Yup, and the humor.

Most of the humor in Black Adam didn't land for me. Pretty generic.

GotG is a freaky anomaly. It shouldn't have worked and looked like a totally flop from the trailers. But it had the James Gunn touch.

You can bet your Riddick collection that Ezra will do something retarded again and get himself cancelled for good. Might happen even before the release.

Gunn's "Peacemaker" was appreciated, too.

He needs to go back to battling earthquakes. San Andreas was pretty cool.

Honestly I wouldn’t even need The Rock in a sequel, just Jeffrey Dean Morgan, his character was great.

If Dwayne was white, he wouldn't be getting hate to the extent that he does. Of course we do have one big white wrestler whose not a great actor by the name of John Cena, though he at least has an entertaining show thanks to James Gunn.

Whoever the writers were for for this Black Adam should be the ones punished and blacklisted from taking part in any comic films in the foreseeable future.

Honestly I wouldn’t even need The Rock in a sequel, just Jeffrey Dean Morgan, his character was great.

I'd be up for a Sequel

add some of the other Kaiju from the games.

Agree. I liked Rampage also. 👆
