DD and superman beat each other to death. They both took damage throughout the fight and in the end they both went for a final win all blow. Anybody that thinks that DD was 100% at the final blow moment and superman was 50/70% and then went 100% by not holding back needs to stop posting in any superman thread. Anybody that thinks an all out blow from superman can kill a 100% DD in that story is a wacky wabbit😁

Why is this Superman neophyte still posting on Superman threads?

Oh yes! Because he is a troll.

Just stop it dude, everyone knows you hate Superman.

😂😂
I love the superman of comics. Great character, strong. Fast and is the DC go to guy when things get ugly. BUT there is a problem here, you see.. You and others have created a KMC version of superman in your minds, so when people try and debate comic superman, you and others run to every superman thread and bring YOUR fantasy superman and try and substitute your version so that you can claim he wins. Great humor it is, but it gets old at times.😁

To be honest, they think you are an idiot. One of them even wonders why you avoided HIS question.

Cool story bro!

Did they even answer one of the many questions you dodge?

No? Go figure!

It seems you are just making things up 😂

Now back to the real point, why do you hate Superman?

I can pull out many threads where you say Superman loses so stop lying.

You do know, you don't need to lie right?

Is not like you are 5 and have imaginary friends...... Oh wait! Scratch that!

Your love/obsession for Superman is quite amusing. My imaginary friends actually like you. You remind them ( well, atleast one of them) of himself when he was 9 years old. Thought Batman could beat superman because Batman beat up several guys and superman struggled with one super strong character. Lol

look, anybody that has read the comic knows ( well, has some form of understanding) that superman an DD were hurting each other throughout their fight. They both died from their injuries, not injury. Even the writers have sense enough to know this. We all know this is a ploy by superman fans to try and sell the laughable notion that superman held back and only could hurt DD by dropping phoney mental blocks. They both took damage to the sensible readers. Shrug!

So you don't have any proof or scans that Doomsday was getting injured, huh?

Gotcha. Cry some more.

Aaaaaaaanyway.

Now that it is clear that you have imaginary friends and for some reason you hate Superman let's not derail the thread with your personal traumas and continue with the topic at hand.

So by general concensus Glads dies and none of your silly arguments have actually swayed any one to think otherwise as far as I can tell.

Out of those 6 people who think Glads survives this one.
You are one of them along with Carver, In other words your failed arguments and debating skills have done absolutely nothing.

Sorry. 🙂

Hurt.

Where is it?

well, he sent him flying for sure, but...i don't see any cry of pain or anything else that would indicate dd was hurt there. in fact, we know he immediately gets up as though he was never even hit, so that scan doesn't do much to prove dd was in pain.... /shrug

Based on that, Thor is not hurt by Hulk's punch below:

Hyperion is not hurt by Hulk's punch below:

Hulk is not hurt by Hyperion below (Superman fans have argued vehemently that Hyperion hurts Hulk with that punch):

Also based on the logic presented, the straight one week of battle between Doomsday and Radiant results in no wear on either combatant. If Radiant had unleashed his final blast within 30 minutes of the fight, he would have saved himself an entire week of fighting. It also states that Radiant grew stronger, thus during an entire week of fighting, Doomsday inflicts absolutely no punishment on Radiant. Note that Doomsday doesn't cry out by that final blast.

So Radiant holds back significantly more than Superman.

Also, according to the presented notion, Destroyer never hurts Hulk at any time before this scene since Hulk is getting stronger and subsequently doesn't hurt Hulk with the barrage of punches since Hulk never cries out:

When a writer shows a character being punched and the punch causes the character to fly backward with a prominent grimace on his or her face, that means that the punch hurts the character. I'm pretty sure that the below punch is meant to have hurt Hulk to a reasonable degree:

But based on the logic presented, Hulk is not hurt in the least bit.

I see lots of whining and no proof right there.

None of the scenes later had a character say that he was finally able to hurt the other character after breaking his bones.

That's the first injury he is able to inflict by targeting the knee spike. That's what he means when he says "hurt". Superman's final blow is a double handed axe blow, which is portrayed in comics as the hardest blow you can land on an opponent and is portrayed as a desperation blow.

I recall Hal Jordan using it pre-crisis to take out a yellow colored humanoid tiger that he is previously helpless against, breaking his hands in the process.

The proof is in the image. If a character flies backward from a punch with a grimace on his face, the punch hurts. May not be severely hurt, but hurt none the less and such punches accumulate. So continue to cry.

Doomsday always looks like he's shitting Superman figures though.

He always sounds like it too.

He has the exact expression below with no grunt nor cry out.

Take note that the narration compares BOTH combatants to "weary boxers" who have "gone the distance". That carries more weight that Superman's perception that DD is growing stronger (a common perception when fighting someone).

Also note the double handed axe blow, which is an extreme maneuver in the comic book and anime world.

The superman fans that voted against gladiator because DD killed their God superman would never vote in gladiators favor. Right?. Lol. To say gladiator wins and lives is to place him above your God superman... You all could NEVER do that. 😆. Gladiator wins. Sorry.lol

And yes, as one can see, the blow is overwhelmingly portrayed as a highly effective and often devastating blow. Good example. One can argue that the utilization of that specific blow makes the difference in the battle with Doomsday among other things.
