I said that because when Adam (the “first” man, and human created by God) sinned, the consequence was “death” (or the “curse”). Death has many “forms” or manners whereby it is “manifested”. Animal flesh (i.e. meat) decays and becomes rotten. All of these “effects” are manifestations of “death”, which resulted from Adam’s “choice” to sin and disobey God.
You see, with free will comes “great responsibility”.
God did “not” want an automaton, or robot that just did whatever it was programmed to do. God wanted a man and woman that had the same power of “choice” and “free will” that He has, so He created Adam and Even with free wills.
But, remember: free will comes with responsibility.
For example, terrorism, racism, murder, rape, child molestations, sex trafficking, slavery etc. exist because people are using their free wills (i.e. power to choose) “irresponsibly”, or in the “wrong” way (just like Adam).
However, it is no more God’s fault that people use their power of choice in the wrong way, than it is the fault of law enforcement that criminals use their power of choice in the wrong way (did police officers put their guns to the heads of these criminals and force them to commit their crimes?).
It is no more God’s fault that people use their power of choice in the wrong way, than it is the fault of every parent on Earth that their children use their power of choice in the wrong way (have “you” ever “chose” to disobey your parents—even “once”?).
It is no more God’s fault that people use their power of choice in the wrong way, than it is the fault of the Jews that Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime used their power of choice in the wrong way (did the Jews “ask” to be burned alive, gassed, starved, and treated inhumanely by Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime?).
So are police officers, parents, and the Jews to “blame” for the “actions” of others? Absolutely “not”.

Flesh-eating bacteria (and all other sicknesses and diseases) are manifestations of death (which has many forms, with sickness and disease just being one form).
Moreover, Adam “disobeyed” God, but the Lord Jesus (Who is referred to as the “last Adam”—“obeyed” God. Again, the “last Adam” (i.e. Jesus Christ) did what the “first Adam” failed to do. Jesus Christ obeyed God—thus causing “everyone” Who “believes” in Him to be “born again”, and free from the curse of the law.
Again, through faith in the “Word of God”, and the “Name” of Jesus we can overcome “many” right now, and eventually “all” at a later date, of the effects of the curse that Adam let into the world through his sin/disobedience.
