I could not possibly agree more with Harris. I think he's the most eloquent and brilliant thinker and speaker around right now. It's extremely refreshing to hear someone talking sense and talking it so well.
But many of his critics (Reza Aslan and Glenn Greenwald) just write him off because he's not Muslim and is in fact an atheist. Which is ridiculous because of course religions can't see how crazy they are from the inside. It takes someone who can step back and see them for what they are.
Watch him own this goofy Muslim apologist...
I like Sam, he's well spoken, nice, an overall good man that the left are trying to destroy by calling him an islamaphobe, just because he disagrees with Islam.
To me though, it was always Christopher Hitchens. The way he can dissect Islam was damn charming. The best thing is, he would outright called you on your bullshit.
I think that's the difference between the 2. Sam will always take the high road, where as Chris would get down and dirty with you.

He claims he has justification on "singling out Islam" yet he brings up controversial issues which are in other religious books as well.
Oh and btw Muhammad didn't beat his wives. And he certainly didn't whip them lol. That's something either Mr. Harris doesn't know which means he's not as learned on Muhammad as he makes out, OR he does know but he's purposefully omitting that piece of important information in which case Mr. Harris simply isn't trustworthy or objective.

I thought it was worth re-posting given that Dawkins seems to be in line with Sam Harris' position on Islam.
