If you had asked nicely for one more post on saturday, it would at least be a common decision - but you're like a student telling the teacher that he's late because the dog ate his homework, or that he didn't know the time submission time was for real. You posted anyway after the limit was done, and then cried that it's not "thaaaat over the limiiiiit teacheeer, thx in advance bye!".

As i said, I'm fine with anything darksaint decides, I'm just describing how shitty this whole thing is. Your post doesn't change anything, imo, so it's moot. Judges may think different, and that's ok. If anything, I'd urge him to include it so as not to hear you bitching that you lost because it's hard to make 4 posts in 8 days.

With that said, i'm on vacation. Posting from the phone sucks. Darksaint has the call, so let me enjoy my free time.

Wow. I understand u made up a date but wutevs. Here I thought this was a pretty open and friendly debate. Not sure why it was so hard to rebutt if that's ure main grievance. U didn't even need to rebutt now since I'm not even caring about a limit.

I took the mantle and responsibility of host on. That means my decision isn't, and cannot be, influenced by you, Philo, or anyone else. Even if mods or whatever got involved (not that they would, but just saying), part of my role is making these kinds of decisions, without bias or influence.

So my decision stands.

I hope everyone can understand that, and we're cool.

I can see what celey is getting at. That's why I never generally do tournaments and battle zones as something always comes up. I think a heads up asking for more time would have avoided this

Making your self titled "game-over" post hours after the deadline, knowing that it is so, and not even having the decency to ask me or darksaint if it's ok is a bit ch move. If he has asked if it's ok, i would have said yes. Even though he crammed his points literally last minute. Not fair play? Yes. Whatevs. It's not against the rules.

I tried having this match the most fair play i could, even though i had to stay at 3 am to do research and post because shockingly, i too was at work. I stretched my posts over the course of the week so that he could have time to address them, and me him. His posts never came. Then he flooded last minute and saturday. When called on it, he played victim and "why so unfriendly?". After all the effort i put.

Now, if i win, it will be "because you wouldn't let me post as i had no time! If he wins it's "and i didn't even need my final post!"

We agreed on the time period. He said yes. Now I'm the ******* for calling him on it, and his lack of decency to at least ask me if it's ok.

It's a lose lose. That's why i asked darksaint to allow it, because now it's gone to shit.
It's left a bitter taste in my mouth for something i was excited to do.

I thought it was just one post. I now see it's actually 2 of them posted on Saturday. Jesus christ.

I haven't pmd the judges on how it stands. If they don't read this thread, they'll take it all into consideration. Whatever the final decision, darksaint, if you have the time, pm them or post in the thread

What u don't get is I don't mind your grievance. It's valid. I literally am not thinking about all this apparently rigid bz etiquette. I literally don't care hence why I said feel free to post a rebuttal. I'm not even requiring a time limit. It's to your own leisure. The mere fact I'm telling you all this should tell you that I'm not trying to pull the wool over ure eyes. You can even post larger than the single post limit for all I care. If u think it was only fair to refute because of my delayed post that's no skin off my back.

Believe me I'm laid back as phukk regarding this. My last bz I gave my opponent days if not weeks to complete his posts(which he never did).

I just never gave this much thought to how things could get this testy considering I was technically just a few hours late and I've seen weeks long delayed rebuttals in a bz.

And u thought my "game over" title was a ***** move? That was tongue in cheek. Have u seen how combative some of the statements are in other bz's? I thought ours was quite non-confrontational.

But DS has decided. And I respect his decision since he took the time to host and help put this together. Next time I'll be more mindful I guess.

Explicut rules which you agreed to are not suggestions. 1 week doesn't mean "anytime you like". You never asked me, or saint, anything and posted like nothing happened.

You excuse is now "but muh other battlezones". "But muh work". This was not a debate, you just spammed the thread at the end with 2/3 posts on Saturday, when the discussion was over on friday. 3/5 of your at length responses were after i was already done,right at the end of the deadline/over, after i waited all week for something to address. Suddenly, you had time friday night/saturday morning, after posting only 1 reply since 8 days ago.

I don't have time to invest in continuing, and considering last week, certainly not for a discussion with you. Good thing i took you off ignore for a week, back you go permanently.

Let it go guys. Not going to solve anything. Ultimately Dark made the ruling. Unfortunate it came to this.
