Rogue

I think I like Anna better, she's just extremely shy/ unsure about her self. It's like her "coming out" period. sooner or later, hoping in X3 she'll be a bit more fiesty!! 😄

i like paquin fine. you gotta realize no ones really the same in the movies. you just cant translate comics to other mediums the same way. take iceman for example. he is supposed to be a founding member, but in the movie he's a student being taught by cyclops and jean. still, i obviously loved the movies, you just gotta grant the movies a little leniency.

True,the movie has a charm of it's own.

While I very much liked Anna Paquin's portrayal of Rogue, I would have to say the 90s cartoon version is my favourite. Let's face it, Rogue kicked ass, and I want to see a little more of our favourite fiesty Southern Belle in X3!

Hopefully we will,as anna has said in the past that she'd like to fight.

i dont like Anna acting...she made Rogue look too wimpy.i was soo disappointed ❌.i think she needed a bigger role..or atleast do some thing exciting!!

Anna was fine,she just wasn't used good by singer.

Thats no excuse, if she was wonderful would singer get any credit? i dont think so...

That is an excuse,what she did do with rogue was great work,but the whole fighting stuff,that was singer's choice not to let rogue shine as a character in that area.

Its not, she was a poor rogue... paquin is a talented actress dont get me wrong, but she just isnt rogue imo... she had plenty of screen time to show how great she could be and she didnt...

Your wrong she did show how good she was,how can you deny she wasn't good in all the angst scenes in x-1.True in x-2 she didn't get alot to do,but I still think she showed rogue to be a little more like what we know and lve.And I expect you'll be eating your words after you've seen x-3.

in x1 and x2 she hasnt been a good rogue imo... i hope she is a good rogue in x3...

She was a good rogue,she was just the rogue before she became the southern powerhouse.I liked how they show rogue as an evolving character through x-1 and x-2.Hopefully with her beening an x-man now she'll kick some ass in x-3.

The problem i had was that in the comics Rogue was both, she was a powerhouse one minute and a frightened, lonely woman the next... it wouldnt have been difficult to do that...

In X3 if they dont have her with her Ms. Marvel powers they'll be making a huge mistake...

I think rogue can be both in x-3,we already have the vunerable side and she did show more of a flitry-cocky side in x-2,and it would be easy for the writers to expand on that.As for her getting the miss marvel powers,how can they do that,the only real opititons are to either have her evolving because of mags machine like jean or somehow her absorbing phoenix and retaining certain powers permantly.

It could very easily be done, though they would need to license Ms. Marvel...

It would be dumb if it was associated with Jean or the Phoenix, the phoenix hasn't any capability like that...

and mags machine only changed her hair... triggering a mutation so long after would be a terrible plot hole...

Bringing miss marvel in just so rogue can absorb her is stupid and a waste of screen time.They did her back ground differently and how she got her streaks-so why not do this differently.

Ms. Marvels claim to fame is that she gave Rogue her powers... they cant do anything with what they have, they will have to do something new to give her her powers...

Fine something new,I just don't think miss marvel could be brought into the story without it looking forced.

i do agree... but imo they've messed up too much of the x-mens heritage already... they need something to tie it to the comics...
