Pretty sure he did, as well as voting for the Obamacare repeal. He talks a big game but folds easier than a lawn chair.

I like how you think saying "wrong again" means anything.

Your opinion has been noted. I, on the other hand, think he was just virtue signaling.

It means everything to you.

It is a show, but doesn't mean he's not actually concerned over Moore, considering if Moore wins now, then his fall will reflect poorly on the GOP. Unless you believe the Democrats will not capitalize on that should it come to pass? Flake's thinking about the long term, not the short.

LOL a story originally in the NYT is saying Lena Dunham warned the Clinton Campaign about Harvey Weinstein and they ignored her lol.

Warnings about Weinstein went unheeded by Team Hillary

"The New York Times has produced a long piece by five — count them, five — reporters about Harvey Weinstein’s misdeeds. When it finally rains, it pours.

The Times reports that two major Hillary Clinton supporters — Lena Dunham and Tina Brown — warned the campaign about Weinstein’s visibility at Clinton functions. Dunham claims she told a campaign staffer:

I just want you to let you know that Harvey’s a rapist and this is going to come out at some point. I think it’s a really bad idea for him to host fund-raisers and be involved because it’s an open secret in Hollywood that he has a problem with sexual assault.

When Dunham’s warning went unheeded, she says she turned to another staffer and tried again. To no avail.

The two staffers apparently don’t deny being warned by Dunham. Instead, they insist they never heard anything about rape."

Hilarious, and I know people are going to be triggered by me even bringing Dunham up at all 🙂

Well tbf I can understand ignoring advice on sexual assault related things from someone who molested their younger sister.

True, then again remember Hilary's words: women have a right to be believed.

One of the most pseudo-morally righteous statements ever made.

So Steven Crowder is doing these interesting segments where he goes to a college campus and essentially gets a table out and puts up a sign that states a belief and invites people to change his mind. So the latest one is "There are only two genders, change my mind".

WtftZPL-k7Y&t

It's a long one. The one girl there gives an opinion I am afraid a lot of people in college share. She says that purposely referring to someone as the wrong pronoun is a form of violence. But she says it is not a kind of violence people should be punished for, and notes there are various types of violence that is not against the law.

To which I can really only thing of two things where it is legal In sports certain forms of violence are legal. And violence is also legal in self defense. Violence done on purpose for no good reason is illegal.

The guy from the beginning was at least consistent. He says if Steven identifies as a bobcat people would be wrong to not go along with that.

Was this the right thing to do?

Photo shows construction workers carrying guns on the job — and they’ve just learned their fate

Like it says, they worked construction, they were subcontractors. There were photographed on the job carrying guns. They ended up being fired. I think it was the right thing to do because it is apparently against the rules of the company, but my question is should that be the rule?

The only reason I ask is because it is pointed out that the area they were doing construction in when the photo was taken is a high crime area.

If they're working in a high crime area, The construction company should have hired some security guards.

That is a potential solution. Though I am also guessing that would be far more expensive than simply letting people with the appropriate license have guns with them in neighborhoods that are dangerous.

Transgender woman weightlifter takes world championship silver medals: ‘Nobody wanted her to win’

"Hubbard — a 39-year-old who lived as a male for 35 years — has won three of four international contests, Stuff noted. But not everyone is happy about Hubbard competing as a woman.

“We’re in a power sport which is normally related to masculine tendencies … where you’ve got that aggression, you’ve got the right hormones, then you can lift bigger weights,” Australian Weightlifting Federation chief executive Michael Keelan told Fox Sports, adding that Hubbard’s presence creates an “uneven playing field.”

Keelan also noted to Fox Sports: “If you’ve been a male, and you’ve lifted certain weights, then you suddenly transition to a female, psychologically you know you’ve lifted those weights before.”

So this story has double the comedy. First we have the people getting triggered over this dude competing against women. We also have the fact he only won the silver medals lol.

So here is something interesting. It's about healthcare and yeah it is Steven Crowder, but he says some interesting things that have made me change how I view this stuff.

YouTube video

He's right that when you talk about medical cost the quality of care is also important. One stat I found interesting was that around 75% of the new drugs that have come out in the past and are coming out now...all came about via research funded by private funding.

I guess people just tend to think it is the government doing all this(me included), but it's not.

So I'm confused. Is this guy trolling? He continually says he knows this is silly and seems to be laughing about this lol.

YouTube video

I think he's f*cking with people lol. He essentially says people like him are mentally ill and fully transitioned people must be unhappy.

Props to this guy. Epic trolling.

I'm the opposite. I find it strange that people would think the government would be researching and conducting drug trials which is odd given that I live in a country with socialised health care and you live in one with private health care.

Then again I live in a university city and there's a multitude of private companies within a 5 minute walk from my front door that mass screen drugs against diseases. Most of which are offshoots of the university life sciences division.

We also have GlaxoSmithKleine, one of world's biggest drug manufacturers, in the city.

The fact that most drug research is conducted by private companies is one of the primary reasons that debilitating yet relatively rare diseases persist as there's no profit in researching drugs for them as too few people are affected. It's also why genuine cures for common diseases are few and far between as there's more money in treating the symptoms.

Man where you live sounds awesome. *Checks your location* I just hope you don't own a business with bullet proof glass. You take that shit down if you do, ya hear? It's hurting feelings.

Listen: California professor refuses to debate Ben Shapiro — but would like to fight him

Why is this professor still employed? Is this college now? This is the future? Lol...

I don't get that joke.

Ohh? Then you're gonna love it. A little Einstein democrat from Philly put forth a bill to remove bullet proof glass from certain establishments in bad neighborhoods. You know, to protect the cashiers from being robbed?

Yeah, they gotta go cuz they might hurt the feelings of customers. This is not a joke. I doubt the bill will get passed, but oh how hilarious it is someone even thought it up.

No worries, they can just dodge the bullets if someone tries anything, Neo style.

Nah, I just think he's self-aware. Also seems like a good lad.
