Yeah. Up to the kids and parents. I don't know why people are concentrating on what the kid is wearing. Just looks like some fancy pajamas or something.

I'm sorry does nobody see anything sketchy about some 9 year old boy dressing up as a girl and parading around for the entertainment of adults?... like I feel like someone hearing that should have a red flag pop up in their mind.

It is like we entered the twilight zone. This is being written off as "kids playing dress up!". What reality are these people from?

Did you dress up like a drag queen as a kid? Did you say things like:

"If you want to be a drag queen and your parents don’t let you, you need new parents"

This shit isn't normal, and people act like this is normal shit kids do. I might have dressed up as a kid as like...a ninja turtle, or some shit, but never a drag queen lol.

It's worse than people acting like it's normal, people are acting like this is some progressive milestone, emblematic of a beautiful future or some such shit. That's what really weirds me out, not the people regarding this neutrally but the people regarding this as a good thing.

So this is a 9 yr. old drag queen named "Lactacia" and you just seriously posted like it's just a bit of dress up? Really? It's just fancy pajamas? Lol...what?

This feels like an episode of Black Mirror, where people just act like this shit is totally normal. No, it is not. Full stop. This is not kids just being kids lol and anyone who tries to imply otherwise is f*cktarded. No, this is mental illness or the parents projecting their stupid bullshit. It's not healthy behavior.

You legit just said "I don't know why people are concentrating on what they wear" about a 9 yr. old drag queen? Holy shit lol.

^^^To the Drag Queen

That's something taught, not something learned. His parents taught him this including the "get new parents" line that he probably memorized.

However, it is also possible that he is fully aware of everything he is doing and he just has passive but supportive parents in this. Maybe he just read stuff on the internet, got the ideas, and pushed his parents to get him into drag modeling. That's highly unlikely for him to do that at his age but it is still a possibility.

Regardless, perhaps he is far too young to be making decisions like this. The more likely scenarios is there is quite a bit of coercion going on around him to get him to do, say, and act in a certain way. If that's the case, that would be clear child abuse.

What disturbs me are the "oh a kid playing dress up!" type comments. That's insane lol. This is not dress up. Dress up doesn't come with a side of propaganda.

No doubt this kid's going to grow up to be the next Jeffrey Dahmer, your vigilance and pearl-clutching will surely stop it, Surt.

No more than pearl clutching will stop the next mass shooting. That'll stop, of course, agreed?

Now you're comparing the concern one has over a mass shooting were people are murdered and a kid wearing girl's clothing and makeup as equatable? Lolz, want a redo?

No, we will apply this logic. Pearl clutching won't help so cease your whining.

Yes, as in the actual clothing. The clothing isn't revealing or anything. It's basically a sparkly hoodie. Little girls in beauty pageants wear way worse shit than that. Like I said I personally find the makeup creepy but I find any little kid in heavy makeup creepy.

Whether it's "normal" or not is irrelevant. Not everything considered abnormal is inherently dangerous. What do you want done about it? What harm is actively being done to the kid? Do you have a problem with the clothing or the makeup? If it's the clothing, what is wrong with it? Specifically.

Well I personally think this should be discouraged, same with those child beauty pageants tbh.

I'd also think it backwards if people treated child beauty pageants as some grand cultural milestone for progress.

I think it's up to the parents if they want to discourage this. If they do, fine. If they don't, fine. It's up to them unless there is some evidence that some specific type of psychological damage is being done to this child as a result of him wearing this costume.

A kid can have a phase, and then he'll grow out of it. As long as it's the kid's choice to try it out that's fine; if it's the parents pushing their own propaganda onto him, well then that's wrong.

Have you ever been around kids, do you have kids or have you been a kid?

This is pretty normal. Whats abnormal is the finger pointing. I did pretty much the same thing when i was a kid with my goth phase.

Holy shit, being a drag queen is not normal things kids do. This is not mere dress up.

I dressed up as a ninja turtle. I did not actually identify as a ninja turtle.

Is this propaganda enough?

A Drag Queen is a performer, it's a male who dresses up [extravagantly] in women's attire and often does some sort of performance. Be it modeling, fashion, singing, dancing or some combo of those.

It's just a show, it's not a mental illness unless you consider actors who dress up and perform to be "mentally ill". You're just a knee-jerking retard, Surt.

Dress-up is exactly what it is. Drag is an initialism from the time of Shakespeare, when women were not allowed to be actors. It is a script note that indicates a character is female, and the male performer is to be "dressed as girl." Drag queens are literally male performers playing female characters. They are not transgender, you reactionary retard.
