Assuming this is all true (Because for all we know, the whistle blower could be lying for the spotlight), this touch's on one of my pet peeve's with the mental health industry:
Why is everything taken on blind faith?
No one ever thought to question this experiment? They just took him at his word?
Policy decisions were made, on his word?
The geneal public, or the intelectual community at large, or (god forbid) the media never thought to ask dig into the credibility of something that affected so many lives?
This is a conspiracy, allright. One of enablement.. A whole lot of people who should have been acting as gstekeepers didn't do their jobs.
Something like this makes you question everything. Every premise, every assumption, every industry.
It looks like no one really gives a damn about "the public interest" at all. I want to believe in such altruists, but where are they?
