But on that note, DMB, why aren't you denouncing Surt's equally pitiful limp-wristed attack? Making it out that an angry extreme feminist must have short hair or some nonsense? That her looks dictate her viewpoints. Well?
Because I honestly find it funny.
He wasn't saying her looks dictate her viewpoints or that you can judge someone's character based on their views, more that there are certain mannerisms and stereotypes attached to SJWs, such as short haired feminists, or hair dyed in extravagant colors etc. and that when you can accurately guess things about how someone carries and presents themselves based on their views, it can be amusing to see them basically be a walking stereotype or caricature as it were of people of that political persuasion.
Same thing with the alt-right and neonazis. There's a sort of naziesque haircut with the sides really closely trimmed and the top being all slicked back and stuff, Richard Spencer being a good example. I wouldn't dream about assuming anything about someone's views based on their haircut, but if I heard someone's views first, and they were alt-right, then I looked up a picture of them expecting to see that kind of haircut and then saw it I'd find it mildly amusing to see them basically being a walking stereotype for their position.
The funny part is "Oh wow here's someone's political views, I can probably guess they present and carry themselves in a stereotypical fashion for someone of those views, LOL that's hilarious" not "A woman has short hair so therefore I can judge her views and character based on that."

I don't think Adam's ever defended the violent black mask wearers, if that's what you're getting at.
I don't recall the exact details, but he expressed incredulity at people being opposed to antifa with the argument "They're called antifascists, how could you be against antifascists?" and the problem is even violence aside Antifa smears the people they disagree with as antifascists even if they aren't fascist, it's a hysterical movement that's completely dishonest about the people they disagree with even when they aren't physically assaulting people, or plotting violence, or obstructing traffic, or trying to obstruct speakers on college campuses. Violence aside it's not a movement of good character or good principle, and represents the worst aspects of the left that we have been criticizing on that thread. So Adam saying "how could you be against antifa?" actually does come across as a tacit endorsement of the regressive parts of the political left-wing.

What's your beef with the SPLC though? Admittedly, I don't know a whole lot about them.
My beef with them is that they castigate people as hateful or extremists who do not fit that bill at all. A good example of this is how they mischaracterize Christina Hoff Sommers by associating her with Male supremacy, or refer to a moderate Muslim Maajid Nawaz who is calling for reform within the faith an anti-islam extremist, or Aayan Hirsi Ali an anti-Islam extremist. It also falsely labeled Charles Murray a white nationalist... despite him having multiracial children... They've also referred to Rand Paul and Ben Carson as right-wing extremists. Oh and they've unfairly castigated Sargon of Akkad as "far-right" despite him actually being centerleft or centrist if anything and him openly condemning the alt-right, providing in depth criticisms of their backwards ideology, mocking the alt-right, and expressing fundamental principles completely in opposition to what the alt-right believes. Oh yeah, and they put a vox article on Jordan Peterson on "hatewatch headlines"
They might've once actually been a good organization, but in the modern day they're nothing more than partisan hacks who mischaracterize and unfairly castigate the people they disagree with. I don't know if it's intentional dishonesty, them being so ideologically possessed they actually believe what they're saying, or them just being incompetent at their job, but neither of those three are acceptable.

One thing Adam didn't do though, is try to defend actual Neo-Nazis with whataboutry deflection tactics like some mini-me Hannity.
I can't get too much into this one because I don't remember it that well. It was a while ago and I honestly kinda tune out whenever there's a several page long Robtard Surtur slap fight. I do remember Surtur actually condemning the neonazis though, and I actually recall him stating a few times that the alt-right and their ****ed ideology is bad. Admittedly he doesn't hit as hard on that point as I would like to see, but he makes the mistake of getting caught up in the partisan back and forth BS. I wish he would've been more thorough in his condemnation of the far right.
I was gonna add more, but my local DMV has been pissing me off so I'm worn out on this reply for now
