Doubt it. The Land of U.K lost it self to Lefty Loony Land long ago. They are a lost cause.

Reporter faces swift consequence from one ‘stupid, regrettable’ tweet about Trump

Someone who was a journalist for 21 years tweets out fake news the shooter was wearing a MAGA hat.

Remember: these people are our friends!

It's good he quit I guess, but nah...I won't join in with the other people patting him on the back for it.

This piece of shit is exactly why the media is so distrusted. This wasn't a newb doing the job for 6 months. This was a seasoned journalist.

Good riddance.

He said he was being sarcastic.

That implies he was mocking lefties. He also apologized to PotUS supporters:

"My sincere apologies to all good, hardworking reporters and to POTUS supporters."

I don't know this person, but one interpretation is he was trying to do "The Onion" type fake news to mock the people who keep blaming Trump for everything (similar to "Thanks Obama" I guess the new one is "and hew as wearing a MAGA hat"😉.

He should have known better.

Restaurant manager denies service to man in ‘MAGA’ hat, then receives brutal lesson from his boss

Do I agree the manager should have been fired for this? No. Do I find it hilarious that he was fired for this? Yes.

He should have been fired. He's not the owner. If he went against the owner's beliefs, he should be out. Most businesses will not run an operation that alienates customers. It's just stupid business practice.

"...the manager was fired for violating the company’s 'philosophy of tolerance.'"

He would definitely know that if he was a manager. He let his leftist ideas of trying to thought-police people get in the way of following company policy.

Yeah thinking about it now...I agree. Owners should have the right to refuse service, employee's should not.

You've got it. 👆

Managers are there to execute PPP* and help hit the targets within strategic initiatives. They are there to manage the people and the business to fit within the vision of executive leadership. They can certainly make policy and strategy suggestions, but they cannot make their own up. That usually gets you in trouble at most places.

What a manager is definitely not supposed to do is operate part of the business in direct opposition of company policy. lol

PPP = Policies, Procedures, and Processes

What is your opinion on this?

I like how the manager that was fired tried to excuse his actions by saying

I stand by my decision The MAGA hat has come to symbolize racism, bigotry, Islamophobia, misogyny, white supremacy, [and] homophobia. As a person with a strong moral backbone, I had to take a stand against this guest's choice of headwear while in my former place of work. Absolutely no regrets.

I'm fairly sure that if asked, most people that wear the hat would disagree with him in regards to what the hat symbolizes.

I wonder if he realizes what he did was also bigotry lol.

Indeed. Some of them would probably be libertarians and you know how up-their-own-ass they are about liberty.

In the UK managers of pubs have the right to refuse service to anyone, they also don't have to give a reason and may also bar you without reason.

Isn't it usually the left that argues against profiling people?

Not when it comes to politics and religion.

Gays HATE the Safe Sex....especially in Canada.

Canadian Man may get 2 years in Prison for handing out pamphlets for safe sex.

Of course you guys don't have free speech either though. And you apparently can't even film things outside courthouses. Or maybe that just has to do with when it's muslim grooming gangs.

WATCH: Ben Shapiro schools Bill Maher in heated debate about incivility, Donald Trump

"Maher’s only response was to claim that Trump supporters who chanted “lock her up” — in reference to Hillary Clinton — is “a worse abridgment of speech.” The question clearly meant to pin Shapiro in a corner, but he was having none of it.

“Can’t we just say that incivility is bad across the board?” Shapiro said. “Why is that when you’re a Democrat you’re only opposed to incivility when it’s Donald Trump, but suddenly Maxine Waters is ‘Auntie Maxine.'”

“Because Ben, you can’t walk into a room and see an elephant and a mouse and not see which one is bigger,” Maher responded.

“But it’s not an elephant and a mouse — it’s two elephants,” Shapiro hit back. “I needed 600 officers to protect me at [University of California at] Berkeley. Yes it’s an elephant and an elephant.”

Shapiro continued, explaining incivility “pre-existed” Trump’s rise to political prominence. "

Ben is 100% spot on here IMO. Great point about Berkeley. He spoke there in 2016 and they didn't have to spend anything on security. Last year he speaks there and it costs 600 grand.

Also we have this:

"The other notable exchange came during a discussion about Russia. Shapiro argued that Trump has taken more action to hurt Russia than his predecessor, Barack Obama, ever did. He explained:

He’s been a lot harsher on Putin than Obama was by the way. Not in terms of his rhetoric, in terms of his actions. He’s armed the people of Ukraine with deadly weaponry, which Obama would not do. Two hundred Russian soldiers were killed in Syria by U.S. forces under Donald Trump, not under Barack Obama. Because it was Barack Obama who said to Dmitry Medvedev saying that he wanted to provide Putin with flexibility in 2012. Crimea was annexed under Barack Obama."

What he is saying here seems to ring true.
