Triggered: Stories to make you mad.

I love stories that show Mueller is being checked and doesn't really have the carte' blanche free reign to do whatever he wants as Trump and the Trumpsphere love to claim while frantically screaming "Witch Hunt!".

That story and the others posted here showing Mueller is being checked (iirc, Judge T.S. Ellis was another putting Mueller in check) will only further cement that whatever Mueller's report ends up reveling is true.

And I fully admit that I laugh at Trumpers when they gleefully post these stories of some sort personal wins.

If you like checks so much then you should move to the Czech Republic and open up a bank account with a local bank and order a load of personal checks so you can buy a game of checkers with your checks so you can check yourself before you wreck yourself. uhuh

It does lend credence to the notion that Mueller's findings are going to be legit with so many judges checking him a like a overly zealous checker at the grocery store.

It could be my ADHD mind but it feels a bit contrived to try and have gotcha against Mueller because of those things. Those were the items that stood out the most to me, as well.

But I'm not feeling it.

Help me get to the lightbulb: why are those things a big deal rather than just a nitpicky thing about Mueller and his teams in previous positions?

I think people could have similar criticisms of my work. I just sent out a survey on a massive project and quite a bit of criticism about communication of technical details was there - but almost none of those people have any business being in the weeds on that project but the think they do.

Know what I'm getting at?

Who said it's a big deal? I said it was an interesting article. You came and asked me for my favorite part. I enjoyed the part where they went into the judges background.

An Illegal Immigrant Child Died In Custody. The Left Blames Border Patrol. Here's Why They're Wrong.

Central American migrants submit incredible list of demands to Trump administration before they will go back home

"The first group of about 100 arrived at the consulate before noon. They presented a letter that ordered their asylum or that they are paid $50,000 each to turn around and head back home. "

😆

This story is about 10 days old, but still worth posting:

"Hero" homeowner fatally shoots escaped inmate who kicked in her door, sheriff says

"A South Carolina woman is being hailed as a hero after investigators say she fatally shot an escaped inmate who had kicked in the door of her home as she slept early Tuesday. Pickens County Sheriff Rick Clark says the inmate was one of two who escaped the Pickens County Prison as a part of a "premeditated plan" around 2:40 a.m. "

Read about this, this morning. Very sad.

Unfortunately, there are too many humans in the world but sometimes, I wish to save them all. I don't want terrible things like this happening to kids.

Missed this.

Yeah, heard about it while driving this morning. Children dying legit triggers me. If you take a child into custody, the organization is responsible for that child's well being; that's how it works.

Seems like one even did a basic medical check on the child, as dehydration like that would be easily evident. But that's what happens when you dehumanize groups of people from the top leadership, that attitude trickles down.

Not just a child but anyone. If you take anyone into custody you're responsible for their well being for the most part.

That's what pisses me off about our criminal justice system. Like nobody should get raped in prison... nobody. I don't care what they've done, it's not appropriate, and prison guards shouldn't turn a blind eye to this shit.

Prison is actually a seriously complicated and ****ed up issue. Something that Jordan Peterson pointed out is that we do the worst thing we can possibly do with violent and antisocial criminals, and that's to stick a bunch of them in the same place. Sadly there's not a good solution to that because we can't have like an individual facility set up to personally deal with each individual prisoner, it's just not cost efficient.

Sorry I'm going off on a rant.

Fair enough, I'm just biased more towards the protection of children.

100% agree there and I've said similar in here years ago. If someone is serving 30years in prison for murder, that's their sentence; not 30 years plus weekly anal rapes and/or beatings.

To your edit: Yeah, I don't pretend to have the solutions, but our system of severe punishment and dehumanization doesn't work, we need to try something else.

If anything, make separate prisons solely for the violent. Don't mix some non-violent 20 year old who got 10 years for selling weed with murderers and rapist.

No worries, our legal/penal system is rant worthy

Yeah that is one of the few areas I largely agree with democrats more than republicans. As well as some law enforcement measures in general like Civil Asset forfeiture.

The other obvious one is the war on drugs. Complete failure, violation of liberty, definitely doesn't help the black community.

Jeff Sessions was a huge proponent of all of this shit, which is why his appointment is one of my two least favorite things Trump has done along with his trade war tariff shit, and why I was literally shouting with joy when I found out Sessions got fired.

There are obvious other areas I'm conflicted on or ambivalent between the two parties:

Privacy is one, but the political elites could care less about our privacy on either side of the aisle.

Environmentalist and foreign policy is another simply because those are two areas of policy I would consider myself completely inexpert in.

LGBT issues is another one because I strongly agree that gay marriage should be a thing and stuff, but I'm not a fan of the democrat's view on the bake the cake thing, am completely ambivalent towards the bathroom issue, and don't agree with gender theory being pushed as heavily as it is in our education system. I'm also skeptical towards creating legal frameworks around gender identity because it's something that I think is rather ill defined.

‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’ Surges In Sales After Feminists Brand It A Date Rape Anthem

😆

Oddly enough that music and lyrics is more acceptable than baby it’s cold outside.

Why is rappers signing about sex and drugs accepted but “baby it’s cold outside” isn’t?

Someone please explain this to me

Pr stunt. Gotta be.

Feminists I've met do know the difference between unaccepted advances, and sexual bantering/wooing.

Anyways yes that childs death is a tragedy, so lets hope we won't see a single sack of shit exploiting the kids death. So no blaming Trump, Nielsen, etc.

Oh wait, Chuck Schumer already blamed Nielsen? Nevermind.

This isn't the first year we've had feminists whining over this song.

And when they are also now whining over "Kiss the girl" from Little Mermaid(she friggin wanted to be kissed and literally made a deal with a witch in order to make this happen) it's hard to see it as a stunt.

EDIT: what happens is this: a small but loud and obnoxious as f*ck portion of people whine like babies. A company sees this and, being retarded, assumes they represent a majority of people and so cucks to what is in fact a minority of people.

Sometimes they wise up. The radio station that banned the song got rid of the ban after realizing it was a tiny whiny minority.

I wonder about that.

In 90's something World Championship Wrestling, there was a hardass manager nobody liked, because he actually insisted everyone show up on time and work hard. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall found a recording of him saying something like "I'm not racist, but if I don't want to associate with n-words, that's my business."

One of the investors was a black baseball player. Hall and Nash made sure he heard the tape. The manager was replaced.

My point, is I'm wondering if these things are really about a vocal minority, if if that's just a pretext so someone higher up the chain can makes changes they want to make anyways.

Hall and Nash were power hungry dicks and kinda ruined WCW with their booking choices(Nash is more guilty of this than Hall).

Anyways, I can see what you're saying...but for this instance if it was someone high up who wanted to get rid of the song then I don't see why they would get rid of it and then reverse the decision. It would have especially been dumb for them to create a poll. Without the poll they could pretend the vocal minority isn't really a minority, but it becomes more difficult with that.

Of course the poll could have been put up by someone else who was fighting the decision, who knows.

We've seen feminists actually rewrite the lyrics to the song though, so I think yeah it truly does bother some of them. "Whats in this drink?" gets them, they feel the line is about date rape. But no it's like saying "this pie is good, what's in it?".

Australia Expected To Recognize West Jerusalem As Capital Of Israel On Saturday

This reminds me...what happened to the massive turmoil that was supposed to occur as a result of the embassy decision? There was supposed to be this yuge backlash.
