The difference is that Ocasio-Cortez only represents the 14th District of New York state, whereas Trump presides over the entire country. Why do you care so much about an out-of-state Representative of whom you are not a constituent? This is an ongoing problem with you, i.e. not apportioning your concern to things in relationship to how much they affect you. Case in point: you are preoccupied with a junior Representative from another state that does not represent you and has little to no affect on your life, but you do not give two shits about the antics of the president who is ****ing up the thing.
