Triggered: Stories to make you mad.

I'd love to see someone present a valid argument as to why JP is alt right(I mean their own argument). It won't ever happen cuz he's not alt right, but it would be interesting to see someone try. If the alt right like him it doesn't matter. The devil himself could be a fan...it wouldn't mean JP is a demon.

British Fire Service Lowers Standards For Women, Minorities

Reality sets in.

Huffpost losing their entire opinion section. Buzzfeed laying off something like 800 employees.

Of course, the right wastes no time gloating. As insensitive as some journalists can be to percieved "enemies", I can see how this may be looked at as "reap what you sow."

But the fact is, I'd imagine most of them don't deseve this, any more then anyone else does. I can't take pleasure in someone being laid off, no matter political affiliation.

The truth is, for all the talk and partisanship, this is what it boils down to: These guys are at will employees, and are getting laid off. All their beliefs, talk, or online polarizing debate don't change that fact.. What we are seeing, is the REAL power of the leftist journalist.

Your heart is in the right place. The people have families. This is a partisan victory, for sure. But people and their families lives are being ruined because of the shift of what's popular opinion.

Sucks.

But many of them will grow and develop as professionals and adapt. Some will not. There is a significant portion of the layoff population that suicide when layoffs happen. This is sad and one of the terrible results of modern industry.

Debateable, as with Universities not all subjects require equal entry qualifications.

1. He cites his sources... in fact the majority of the video is him sharing the sources then adding his own commentary. The New York Times, The Spectator, not exactly obscure sources. Sources you'd undoubtedly be sharing with Joker and Beni if they were talking about the plight of LGBT people.

2. Tim Pool isn't just a youtuber, he's a legitimate journalist. He's worked with NBC, Reuters, Time, Vice Media, and Fusion TV, before going independent. He's been on the ground in reporting Occupy Wall Street (where he was attacked by a protester), NONATO protests at the 2012 Chicago Summit (where he was illegitimately accosted by police officers at gunpoint who mistook him and his group for a different group), "no-go zones" in Sweden where he was escorted out by police. The dude is a legit journalist whose not afraid of getting his hands dirty or being put in precarious situations in order to get the facts. He even received a Shorty Award in the "Best Journalist in Social Media" category.

3. Tim Pool is one of the least edgelordy guys out there. People like Milo and Sargon are deliberately provocative. Ben Shapiro less so than them but he can be kinda blunt and smug with the way he addresses people. The Young Turks act all edgy with all of Cenk's "OF COURSE" and Ana's "I SAID F.UCK! THAT'S HOW YOU KNOW IT'S REAL TALK!" Tim Pool? He's relatively laid back, he doesn't make it a point to be provocative. And in fact he has friends from all across the political spectrum, ancaps, anarchocommunists, republicans, SJWs, gays, etc. he's criticized the idea of western society as an unparalleled monolith with the argument that there's Eastern wisdom that could be useful to us, he's a rather tolerant guy.

4. He's actually relatively balanced in his viewpoint. He's a center-lefty who time and time again has voiced his disapproval for republican policy, and has even defended parts of the progressive movement. He's also however critical of other parts of the progressive movement that carry things beyond a point at which his principles are comfortable... which I feel like may be the black mark on him in the eyes of a lot of lefties.

5. You clearly made this comment from a position of partisan bias not really understanding the accuracy of what you were saying. Everything you said in this comment is wrong. I don't think sequestering yourself in a small community where only one person actually disagrees with you has been helping you see these things very clearly.

As soon as he has his youtube channel, he's pushing shit he can't in a paper because "standards". "He is critical of" = "is an edgelord pusing an agenda to the moronic".
