if u change ur mind let me know. U wont have to wait til March either. We have championship parades here it feels every other week. We just had one for the sox, and another for the pats, and were gonna have another for the bruins in a few days after we beat the blues in the stanley cup finals tonight.

Maybe thats why i hate parades so much. All we do up here is win everything then celebrate with a victory parade. Maybe im just sick of having so many of them.

So Walmart is starting an inside the home delivery service. Where delivery drivers actually go inside peoples homes and put groceries right into their fridge.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/techcrunch.com/2019/06/07/walmart-to-launch-in-home-grocery-delivery-in-three-cities-starting-this-fall/amp/

This is a bad idea right?

Delivery driver s get killed and robbed all the time just delivering stuff outside peoples houses. Hell, Ice-T just almost shot an Amazon delivery driver by accident a few weeks ago.

I can imagine some bad stuff happening because of this decision.

But then again

"Walmart notes that the delivery personnel will be Walmart-trained associates"

And

"These associates will learn how to organize food in the refrigerator as well as how to “enter customers’ homes with the same care and respect with which they would treat a friend’s or family’s home,” says Walmart U.S. eCommerce CEO Marc Lore."

So maybe everything will be fine

I'm assuming homeowners will be required to leave the door unlocked/provide keys? Mitigates the risk a little bit since they have to take action on their part to let them in. I'd be more concerned with petty theft and scoping out houses for burglars to hit after hours.

I can't imagine anyone really wanting this kind of service, except for the elderly who can't shop for themselves anymore, whether by inability to drive, or handle large bags of groceries.

I actually didn't find out about Wal-mart delivering groceries to customers until a few months ago. It's a great service and so nice to not have to make a trip to grocery store every two or three weeks. I usually tip the delivery person really well. Bringing the groceries to my door is good enough though; don't need or want some stranger coming into my house.

Then you aren't imagining very well then. I can drive just fine and I'm only middle-aged. I love the convenience of shopping online and having groceries delivered to my door. At first, I thought ordering online from Wal-mart would be much more expensive than driving to get groceries myself but it turned-out I was wrong. Prices for groceries are the same as if you picked them up yourself; you only have to pay a moderate delivery fee which isn't so bad. The prices are much cheaper than ordering from Amazon that's for sure.

How?

Child care less about it, but why is it okay to have any other parades, but not straight?

Actually curious.

The first LGBT Pride parade was held on the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall riots. LGBT Pride parades have been held every year since to commemorate this significant event in civil rights history.

Tell me, which historic civil rights event is Straight Pride commemorating? Oh, that is right, is a temper tantrum by heterosexists that is the logical equivalent of child demanding a present on someone else's birthday.

Yeah cause it aint a "Temper Tantrum" when Gays have to get a Parade, and a Month Dedicated to them because of their Delicate Little Fee Fee's.

Cause They just That SPECIAL!

Bunch of Little Cry Babies.

To be fair when I worked in London I also always had Tesco deliver, saves the hassle.

Typical troll comment from the idiot who thinks the Axis were the good guys and the Allies the bad guys in WW2.

Pot calling the kettle black again... oh bashy.

Not even bothering to get off the coach to go grocery shopping is another factor why America (especially Reddest of states) has a critical obesity problem; which is likely only going to get worse and worse.

^poor robbie is triggered because he doesn't approve of how I get groceries now. Aww...poor baby. Cry me a river.

By his retarded logic, if you order anything online instead of "getting off the couch" and driving to get it yourself then you are just lazy. If you order movies online instead of going to movie theater then you are just lazy. If you buy stamps or other postage materials online instead of using up the gas in your car driving to post office then you are just lazy. If you order pizza online and get it delivered to your door instead of getting up "off the couch" and driving to pick it up yourself then you are just lazy. If you buy anything off of Amazon instead of driving to the store to get it yourself then you are just "lazy." 🙄

This one surprised me.

No warnings, no explanation, just GONE.
