In new News AOC is putting forth a brave new plan to help with the immigration "crisis" (nothing to see here we all knew it was fake back in November.) Luckily it will also address green issues as well. In light of that, she will use a green crayon to outline her fantastic new plan.

In her four-point plan, the New York Democrat calls on the Trump administration to “reinstate US humanitarian aid in the Northern Triangle, where people are fleeing” as well as “start acting like a real partner in Latin America, & increase visas where we intervene.”

Secondly, the progressive congresswoman tied in her signature issue, climate change, saying that the refugee crisis is partly due to natural disasters.

“There is broad consensus from military to activists that resource strains (droughts, famine, etc) & nat disasters are drivers of refugees,” she wrote on Twitter. “People are fleeing places that were once livable & are no longer. It will get worse the longer we do nothing.”

Third, Ocasio-Cortez called for repealing the laws criminalizing crossing into the U.S. without proper documentation, saying the Trump administration is using the statutes to “mindlessly throw people in cages.”

“We have to take these proceedings out of criminal code & into civil code,” she said. “Torture accomplishes nothing.”

I don't get it. Yes, we have rampant prisoner abuse. Funding prisons and funding the Justice System Complex is a vote for prisoner abuse.

Defunding it would decrease prison abuse, for sure.

It's one of the tools in the Criminal Justice Reform toolbox.

Even if you never knew that people, like me, want to defund the corrupt prison system (which would force prison reform), me simply telling you should cause you to accept what I said as true or look it up to verify.

What is "inexcusable" is that democrats have done literally nothing to help border patrol with getting a handle on the unending wave of migrants trying to illegally enter this country.
