BTW, when an airline cancels a flight they usually either refund the money or book you on another flight.
Yes. They usually do. But under those circumstances they aren't obligated to because they're not responsible for the reason behind the cancellation and so aren't accountable for it being cancelled. This answers your other reply.
I'm presuming the theatre actually refunded the cost of hiring the venue although I don't know for certain.

You'd think the dems would be embarrassed by this shit by now, but nope.
Zoe Quinn's A VICTIM AGAIN! #MeToo Alec Holowka | Ep 80
Boy does she sound like a piece of shit and it makes anyone who defended her look pretty bad too.
Because then it would be theft and/or fraud and would be a criminal matter. Plus the fact that mythinformed make no mention of their payments being retained by the venue but do mention lost ticket sales due to uncertainty of whether the event would go ahead as well as having to refund tickets for people who were led to believe by false social media reports that it had been cancelled.
So heres a story that has me pretty triggered that probably wont make the papers.
Guy buys brand new pair of retro Jordan 4's saturday night. Wears them for the first time sunday morning to go to the super market. Goes to put his groceries in the trunk and steps in a giant hot pile of dog shit behind his car.

I've seen no reports that the police or FBI were notified by the business and are currently investigating.
I've seen no reports that the FBI concluded that this case will be ignored, as well. It works both ways.
A story this big? probably already done with the investigation and they know who was involved.

Are those one of those very expensive pairs of Jordan's? Perhaps it is natures way of saying don't spend a lot of money on shoes.
If they aren't expensive maybe you just have bad luck.

Do they make any mention of their money being refunded? besides shouldn't the business that broke the contract be responsible for refunding ticket sales?

But did they investigate because the theatre called them or because they found out about it through other sources?
