Maybe crime and drugs would take a hit if Republicans pursued more sensible drug policy instead of being stubbornly antiquated about this sort of thing.
Ive never seen anything good happen to habitual drug users regardless if its weed. Granted its their right, but most people I know who did drugs ended up addicted an in jail for serious offenses that had nothing to do with drugs outright, meaning not a drug charge. I have a friend that just got out of jail addicted to opioids, he didn't go to jai from it, but was so strung out, it affected his decision making and he ended up in jail for fraud.

This is the front page story in today's paper.
Goes on for three pages, and includes lines like this:
A New Britain couple, seriously hurt in a cellphone-related car accident on Route 8 in Harwinton, received a $1.3 million settlement in November. The previous year, a jury awarded a Torrington woman $1.4 million after a driver
The number of people police listed as having a “suspected minor injury” in crashes that involved drivers using a cellphone or other electronic device also rose — from 266 in 2015 to 314 in 2016. And reports of a “possible injury” linked to drivers using cellphones or other electronic devices went up from 459 in 2015 to 482 in 2016.
“Without a doubt, distracted driving has become more and more prevalent,” said Mark Kochanowicz, an attorney with Trantolo & Trantolo LLC who represented the New Britain couple.
In the two years before the $1.3 million settlement, drivers in other cellphone-related cases represented by Kochanowicz’s firm got settlements or awards of $136,000, $206,000 and $633,000.
So what's this big deal story about that deserves the front page? Far as I can see, it's letting people know there's big payouts associated with cell phone related accidents, and advertises for some lawsuit companies by name.
This is how far the print news has fallen. They're disguising ads as news on the goddamm front page..
So they are suing drivers who hit them if the driver was distracted by a phone. I see million dollar settlements but...what if the person that hit them is poor lol. Where does that million come from? Narnia?
But yeah, I don't know why this is front page news. Just like you can get sued if you drive drunk and hit someone.
So there was a kid in Australia who wanted to transition from a boy into a girl. At the age of 12 he was given hormones which caused him to grow breasts. Two years later he changed his mind. He has now stopped taking his hormones, but has to have surgery to remove excess breast tissue.

Elizabeth Warren gets her views on Planned Parenthood slapped down:
Note: the video itself isn't that old, but the clip of Warren is from a while ago.
"I think Ilhan Omar is the first state legislator to have taken out a marriage certificate naming her brother as her husband. She is probably also the first state legislator to have taken out a marriage certificate naming her brother as her husband who also has a “cultural” husband as the father of her children."
Lol...what?
Okay, so this pisses me off. California had problems with prison overcrowding, which is a legit issue, but they decided to pass a law to release some people or make it easier for them to get bail in order to help this problem. So one of the violent offenders who benefited from this apparently just killed a cop last week:
Tucker asks some good questions. If the prisons are overcrowded why not get rid of every single prisoner that is illegal? Deport them. And if he is correct that California refuses to say what percentage of their prison population is illegal...why? Why would they refuse?
Lol oh shit this is going to trigger the hell out of leftists:
