I didn't mean to make a statement on which lens is superior one way or the other. I have multiple thoughts regarding the topic of the racist Tik Tok video, as well as the Gay Wedding Cake Baker, that are in tension with each other.

My point in this was more that there is an in itself logical argument to be made where you can hold the opinion I laid out. If you start with the axiom that it is one of the duties the government, and institutions of power in society (like universities) to work to protect minorities, and you define some of these minorities that as LGBT People and Black people, it is in itself consistent that you may arrive at a conclusion saying, the government should compel the baker to serve a gay couple, for not to serve the gay couple is discrimination, and at the same time believe that the Universities this couple has applied to should refuse them on the count that they have conducted themselves in a racist manner, which would be to the detriment of Black people that they have a duty to protect.

I hope that makes it more clear.

Oh, I see. And that point is very obvious, now. facepalm My bad.

It's the "be as inclusive as possible" position and punish those who are not inclusive.

Makes sense, that's where they (the "be as inclusive as possible to all progressive ideals" crowd) wanted the situationto go. That crowd would have been very pleased with the Cake Baker dude being sued out of business and for the kids to be unable to attend any post-secondary education institutions. And it is logically consistent with their ideologies.

Update on this TikTok video thing with the two white kids:

Apparantly, they were making a parody video of another racist video that pre-dated their video.

Here's the original racist video:

https://files.catbox.moe/8ih6sk.mp4

If those 2 white people were smart enough, they would have made it obvious that it was a parody video in the description or comments. Or perhaps ended the video with, "Don't be racist." It was so so easy to avoid this massive mess. You can still create parody.

Regardless, that girl form the vid doubled down after basically crashing and burning. Originally, she said her boyfriend had the idea and talked her into it. Then she started shit talking black people (in general) on social media soooooooooo, I don't think her boyfriend is really the problem. The problem is she doesn't know how to take responsibility for her actions and she doesn't know how to properly use social media. She's just a young female version of Trump. lol

So speaking of general annoyances:

No one knows how to fix everyday problems anymore. Take this laptop problem, with the key being stuck. Out of warrantee, and the owner didn't know what to do about it. I asked around the tech friends in my circle, and their answer was "replace it."

But I'm the type who hates spending money until he runs something into the ground, and I'm not about to tell this person to spend their hard earned cash on something that can easily be fixed.

So I, all on my own, tinkered around with the thing to see if you can disable the keyboard entirely. Turns out you can, easily. Just got to install an incompatible driver, and it knocks the built in keyboard right out.

Then you just plug in a wireless keyboard receiver, and wallah. Problem fixed.

Now why couldn't theee techheads come up with this? Or anything outside of "If it's broke, buy a new one"?

Doesn't anyone enjoy fixing little problems anymore?

They don't sound like techheads. They sound like people who like the call themselves tech heads but are idiots.

I'm not a tech head and I can tell you that you used calculus to solve a simple addition and subtraction problem.

If you're using Windows, you can list out all your devices in device manager and disable them with a right click. All of these are grouped under 'HID' which means Human Interface Device.

It's a 10 second task.

And you can probably google a solution in 30 seconds. Maybe my solution is still not the fastest?

But I'll tell you this, cdtm, I went to school for many years and worked many years just so I could pay people to work on my car, mow my lawn, etc. I don't enjoy fixing things. I hate it. Nothing rustles my jimmies more than having to working very small spaces, on cars. Your hand get dirty, you get scrapes and bruises, and you could drop a bolt into a seeming abyss at any point in time.

Mowing lawns? I grew up on 4.5 acres as a kid and I had to mow that lawn. I've mowed enough lawns to last 3-4 lifetimes.

Fixing crap around the house like the AC and the Fridge? If I don't know the solution after 5 minutes of tinkering, then to the internet I go. If the solution looks to be complicated where mistakes could result in damage to the important stuff, time to pay someone.

It's not that I'm lazy, I just get frustrated. I did my time "fixing all the things to save money" and now I don't want to. Except when Midas wanted to charge me $2700 to replace my condenser and recharge the coolant so the AC would work again. Apparently, there was a leak somewhere in the system. My brother had the equipment (he used to be a mechanic so he still has lots of tools) so I just replaced it and charged it at his place for less than $400. It was all parts cost. If I had to purchase all that equipment, it would have still cost me less than $2,700. 😐 It took 45 minutes (it took 44 because I timed it because they said it would take them 4 hours of labor with 3 people...FFS, those assholes).

Okay so this is pretty funny, it might be worth it's own topic I dunno, but meh. So anyways, Michael Moore has just released a new documentary. It goes after green energy/renewable energy/whatever you wanna call it. As one would expect, some on the left were not happy and tried to censor it lol:

Green Brownshirts Strike at Michael Moore

Michael Moore Heresy Watch (Cont’d)

One one distributor pulled it down, but then put it back up because they didn't want to be accused of censorship(which is what they did). Then they wrote an article trying to debunk the movie. Not joking.

Anyways, the movie is now free on youtube, here(and I would watch it soon if you want to watch it on youtube, but there is a decent chance they will pull it):

YouTube video

For what it is worth I probably am not going to watch this documentary and I have no idea if it is accurate. I do so enjoy seeing them eat their own though 🙂

I’ll watch it I like watching his trash 🗑

I'll watch it for sure.

A lefty exposing the dishonesty on the left to make them more honest should be praised, not mocked.

Let me know how accurate it is.

Presuming Michael Moore is an executive producer because it's not him in the documentary.

You couldn't just plug in a USB keyboard?

Did anyone watch that Michael Moore documentary? Well, he produced it, but he isn't in it. Still curious, people are super mad at him and the director. Lol, well...some people are mad anyways.

Watched about 20 minutes so far. Pretty standard fare. Nothing that hasn't been brought up before. Certainly nothing controversial about it.

True, true.

Poor American Indians: all these woke white people think the Native Americans are too dumb to think and feel for themselves so the whitey-wokies make decisions for them.

I just shed a single tear.

Liberal government bans all assault-style rifles in Canada.

This is sickening. One little old deadliest mass shooting in Canadian history and the government bans our precious semi-automatic military-grade angels of death that responsible gun owners need to mow down enemy moose.

You Americans should count yourself lucky that your government is mercifully corrupt and structured so retardedly.

Sickening? Makes me smile the US is better than Canada.
