The problem is loss of jobs, being stuck at home, etc. So violence and gang violence are going to go up.

It sucks. This is also why they only wanted the lockdown stuff to last a short time because we knew it would adversely affect people's health, economy, stress levels, domestic violence, gang violence, etc. We know all this. It's a balancing lives equation - flatten the curve for x amount of time before the deaths from lockdown overtake deaths from infections.

Well Andrew Yang did setup an organization and he's at least contributing UBI to .........20 families in NY for a year. There is also a coalition of mayors looking to create UBI tests, Jack Doresy has came out recently to support UBI with a foundation of his.

Maybe this gets something moving at the very least it can help some of the families that could really use that help.

UBI is capitalist as f*ck when the engine gets going and it works properly. It will be nice when people don't think of it as socialism and actually see the capitalist benefits. It will light on fire SEM (socio-economic mobility) which is where your innovation comes from.

If Trump wanted to MAGA, he should have invested in what made America Great: our innovation and work ethic. Add fuel to that capitalism machine that also helps us stop wasting so much money on avoiding poor-people-problems.
