But Twitter has become its ultimate editor,” she wrote in her letter, alleging she’s been a victim of “constant bullying” from her colleagues, including demeaning messages on the company-wide Slack channel. Weiss also claimed she several colleagues smeared her on social media without any repercussions.

We don't know what is in her heart of course, but she's spent a lot of time attacking leftists positions, at best she's a center liberal who spends most of her time and platform advocating for her more right wing beliefs. So I'm not sure that this is the left eating itself...although the left does eat itself all the time.

She's definitely a leftist. Sure, she is closer to the center than most leftists who write for comfortably left press like NYT, but she's a true modern leftist.

It smacks too much of being a leftist to ever be able to say she's a right-winger/conservative. She may have some criticisms of the left but she's definitely on the left.

I think the question is more is the way she uses her significant platform beneficial to the left or the right, and I think a lot of people on the left think she is helping the right predominantly.
