No, you don't understand Christ's message of turning the other cheek. It is in defiance of their abuse. If they slap you, you turn the other cheek so they can slap the other cheek.
Meeting violence with more violence simply doesn't work. It emboldens them, makes them martyrs, and justifies their cause. Like what we've been seeing.

Ok, ddd. If someone punches you in the gut because they don't like your politics then feel free to be a pussy and just take it if you think you are following in Christ's footsteps.
