Walmart Reverses: Puts Guns/Ammo Back On Store Shelves
Nice
Really? It's just an election.
People seriously have to stop taking it like the sky is gonna fall just because their candidate didn't win. Oh boo hoo your candidate didn't win. So try again in the next 4 years. Being upset is one thing, causing violence just because your side lost is another thing entirely.

It's crazy but on the other hand, I legit went to the grocery store earlier today(Aldi). The windows were all boarded up, etc. I figured the place was undergoing some construction(previous work was done recently so to think they were doing so additional stuff wasn't unreasonable), so as I'm at the register paying for my items I ask the woman working there what new stuff they are doing and she says no it's just boarded up in case people riot over the election.
And this is Illinois so it's a blue state.
But it's like, is this what we have come to? Really?

Yeah cause rioting is gonna do....what again? It's not gonna change the outcome of whoever wins, it's not like they are gonna see these riots and go
"Oh jeez, look how many people are rioting. Wellp, I guess I shouldn't take office and let this other guy be President."
Ya know what's that saying? Life isn't fair, we all have our disappointments and in some cases life screws someone over so bad that they'll never recover from it mentally or physically. So....yeah.

I do agree with it being a danger to the environment, one thing I think is often not mentioned is that a large part of its environmental impact is the outsourced industry from the US and Europe. I also think that we need to look where the things whose manufacturing are polluting the environment are consumed. I think Europe and the US makes it much too easy on itself by pointing the finger at China there. it's true that they are a huge threat to the environment, but large parts of that is because they manufacture things at the orders Western companies for the consumption on the Western market.
Agreed.
I'm not so naive that I don't understand there are some targets that are a lot harder to tackle over others. What I never really understood is the point of hitting soft targets hard and often, while never poking at that bear with your stick.
Because if you can't really address the problem, what are you hoping to accomplish, exactly?

What's crazy is the mag mile is leaning into it. Nike has had us redecorate the boards over their windows three times now, progressively more like a permanent display each time. They aren't going back to glass anytime soon.

With all the rioting and unrest that’s been going on this year already and the tensions running so high this election I think it’s smart for businesses to take precautions like that.

She is average at best, imo.
