Faora vs. Kurse

I think bottom line is, Kurse being at the center of a black hole is sure to have experienced far stronger forces than Superman did being in the perimeter of a black hole (or whatever it is that was).
Maybe, maybe not, depending on if you believe that was a realistic black hole (it wasn't).

More importantly, that black hole killed Kurse. It's not a durability feat.

No, but he tanked getting stabbed by an alien weapon by a superhuman opponent. The one time Superman got hit by an alien weapon it took him down.

That blade went right through him.

What alien weapon are you referring to?

Also, this is a false equivalence. 👇

😂

Because all alien weapons are equal, right?

Oh you MCU fanboys.

The one in Man of Steel couldn't even injure a normal human.

But it could injure Kryptonians? Great logic.

Lets remove the singularity feats, who has better durability, the guy who survives nukes or the guy who gets hurt by swords?

Wine to the people that made the movie.

Wine is a woman's drink.

I meant whine.

So you're dodging the question? Got it.

What else can a spambot do?

Move the goalposts, of course.

You guys are leaning on Superman too much, Faora isn't Superman.

She has the same basic physical attributes, though. And she's fought Superman so we know where she stands compared to him.

She barely fought him, most of the time she had help. Their attributes aren't the same it's not possible, Superman has over 30 years of exposure to their source of power, and she's had less than a day. And when push came to shove, Superman nearly decapitated the strongest of the Kryptonian crew with his bare hands.

Length of exposure to the Sun wasn't how this Universe operated. A few moments in the sun gives max power. Otherwise, Zod and Faora could not match strength with Superman.
Faora casually stopped his strength in their first encounter. This proves they are peers without a doubt.

We don't really know if Sun exposure increases their powers over time, plus Superman was depowered when he was on the Kryptonian ship, so he'd back down to base level in his fight against Zod and he performed his Singularity and World Engine feats.

You don't know that Faora can match Superman's strength, yes she caught his initial punch, but it's a lot more likely he was holding back at first. She's far more trained than him, there'd be no way that Clark would be able to engage her and Nam-Ek simultaneously with any degree of success if he wasn't stronger than them.

Plus, you see their powers progress the longer they're under the sun, it's not unreasonable to assume their strength grows over time. Clark may have even said as much, I can't say for sure, I haven't seen the movie for a minute.

Debating a movie you admit you cant make sound arguements about?
