OT, WM in both 1 and 2 for me, excluding BFR, outside help etc.
Straight fusticuffs WM is just much more durable, and stronger, has a flight advantage and is a good fighter to boot.
I've always said that Aquaman's biggest problem is being in the Justice League. Think about it - he has prodigious strength, but the team has Superman. He has high level telepathy, but the team has Martian Manhunter. He has access to interesting magic, but the JL can call in the likes of Zatanna and Fate who use magic with a K in it (magick). He is really fast, but the team has the Flash. He can jump over entire buildings (and even city blocks), but most of the team can fly (even Cyborg can fly to orbit). He is a great fighter and tactician, but the team has Batman. He has access to ancient sea deities, but Diana has Zeus for a father and Poseidon for an uncle ....
Basically, Aquaman chose the wrong team.
He should cross over to Marvel and join an X-Men team, where his skill set would really make him a MVP. Imagine someone with his strength, speed, fighting ability, telepathy level, access to artifacts and more, and lineage. He'd be like an X-Men team all by himself.

Its a call i've made concerning Martian Manhunter, both regarding his powers on the JLA, and his being better off at Marvel.

Here's a better one. She has the advantage, she has his back and she has the choke. He breaks her hold and winds up pinning HER down!Just like the scan you posted, she loves attacking him when he's focused on someone else.

early Wonder Man wasn't wrapped very tight.
Bouts of rage, then cowardice, dying and coming back to life again and again. His character was a legitimate psycho.
classic was a headcase. too much whining imo--the fear of death ting got old for me. anyway, this is a very close fight imo. really water shouldn't affect simon all that much. AM is more skilled. i dunno, toss up. like simon vs namor is a toss up. i thought that shot was some kind of sucker punch or something. what happened just before that scene, we do know?
