Have you seen the conveyor belt style factory that builds high-end housing as prefabs in Germany? It takes 3 guys 3 days to put the kit together on site if the foundations, plumbing outlet and mains cable are in place.

Haha, not yet, but sadly or perhaps not so sadly on reflection we will have to rethink our relationship to work soon. Although they've been saying that for years.At present people working just get longer hours and become fewer proportionally, while individuals who are not working find it harder to get work. This situation needs to change but probably never will.

Globalization, of course, means that a lot of manufacturing is cheaper to outsource to emerging nations than automate and probably always will be, which is sickening. Someone said I loved Government in another thread, to a point I do because Government has a higher degree of accountability than private enterprise and unfettered capitalism leads to zero hour contracts, etc.
