i didn't apologize for the nazis, i raised the question of whether everyone who was at the demo was a hardcore neo nazi, a reasonable question to ask. I'm trying to avoid dehumanizing the enemy, as I realize that is what actually makes Nazis evil in the first place, and I don't want to be like them. You seem to have missed that lesson in favor of the more accessible "good guys/bad guys" dynamic. Which is basic in-group/out-group human tribalism.

Essentially, if things really do turn sour and we some how have some sort of civil war, right now you are psychologically prepping yourself for the dehumanization of your opponents. That is why anything other than pure vitriol being spewed at the entire group is unacceptable to you.
