Repeat: "Sexual Preference" has been used by certain people on on Right to try and take away equality from the LGTBQ community by saying being homosexual is a choice and who you're sexually attracted to is a choice. So when someone who is being appointed to the Supreme Court uses that phrase, it is worrying considering this person is going to be one of nine people making the final say on laws in our country.

They are valid though, as that phrase has been used as a weapon against the LGBTQ community in the past. You ignoring this because it gels with your bias is just that.
