Removing our History

Why is it in America we are removing markers of our history, although be it unpleasant, yet the Europeans and even Asians, maybe the rest of the world is ok keeping theirs to remember not to **** up again? I mean statues of Caligula, Ivan IV (Ivan the Terrible), Genghis Khan, Megatron, etc, many others. Hell the Romans have a pretty large list of tyrannical leaders with statues. Yet at the same time, people in this country will wear Che Guevarra shirts and not know that he tortured homosexuals and although fought in the Congo, had an extremely poor view of African people. I don't understand this generation of pick and choose. Like you either have morals or you don't.

It is only "our" history if you are a confederate traitor.

There should be more Megatron statues.

Because a lot of people don't actually know jack about our history or these people other than their preconceived notions and crowd mentality.

Additionally people don't know how to be mature anymore and analyze potentially "negative" subjects to gain knowledge from between the lines so to speak.
