You were being disingenuous providing materials that I did not ask for (I said SOLID material, reread what I requested) and that had nothing to do with we were discussing. Unless you are an absolute moron (w/c I don't believe you are, as I've met actual morons and you don't sound like one, tbh), it was pretty damned obvious I was asking for materials that would weigh 5-10 tons within that volume and that constituted that rock Kurse threw since we were discussing the rock being 5-10 tons and nothing else. Don't whine when, the fact is, you tried to be "clever" only to have it humiliatingly backfire. You rolled the dice, don't whine when it didn't land in your favor.

I wasn't referring to the scene where Kurse threw the boulder in my less than 10 ton estimate. It was in the initial scene where he started to lift it. Also, its makeup is a HUGE part of the estimate. Can you honestly say that the boulder Kurse picked up resembles 100% solid rock? Or did it remember something lighter?

The entire boulder was shown both before and after Kurse lifted it, it was clearly shown to be very large.

3. It's common sense that the make up of the boulder appears to be a much lighter material than actual solid rock. It could have been part ash, part dirt, part decayed materials, etc. Or it could have been somewhat porous, not completely solid.

It's only "common sense" to massive biased people that are trying their best to downplay the feat.

In an attempt to flame me, Nibedicus asked me what material could give a weigh of less than 10 tons. I responded, "feathers, foam, ash, etc." I wasn't referring to the possible makeup of the boulder, just answering the question. He knows this. And chose to quote the response without the question.

My less than 10 ton estimate came specifically from that scene. Not the scene before or after.

If the boulder appeared to be solid rock then there is no way I would put its weight that low.

I disagree. I believe most of you feel that the Boulder appears softer than real rock and the special effects was mediocre.

What are you talking about? I posted the clip AFTER my mind was already made up. I just used the clip to show everyone that the size of the boulder changed. And that the material doesn't look like solid rock.

In other words, you're saying that since your mind was made up you felt it was okay to completely ignore what the clip you posted actually showed. We have a term for that.

You're the one that completely ignored what the clip actually showed, or do we need to point out for the 900 millionth time that the clip you posted actually showed that the boulder was far larger than you claimed.

Has anyone else noticed H1's massive double standard? in that he is using what he thinks the boulder looks like after Kurse damaged it as the basis for saying it's not solid. Whereas in the Bane thread he complained that we used what the column looked like after it was damaged.

Doesn't matter as I was honest. The boulder 2nd boulder appears under 10 tons and the later boulder appears under 50 tons.

I don't accept the 150-200 ton range anymore. Your fault. The boulder simply doesn't look like solid rock and I'm not sure if the writer meant for it to be. Thus the feat was garbage.

In the Bane feat, the column was real and got switched out (the rag doll effect).

I actually was trying to conform to something that I don't believe in. You made me stand my ground. It's not based off emotion, but the truth. The truth is the most important thing here.

And if you honestly believe that the Boulder appears to be a real solid rock boulder equal in density as Kings picture then you are very dumb. That's a fact.

Naw. The boulder is less than 60 tons because its much lighter than rock.

Not a good feat. IF knocks Mjolnir out of the air almost as easily.

I think everybody notices that. Loooong before this thread.

Gonna keep this thread in mind the next time he goes on his "fake expertise" rants.

H1 starts with a conclusion and then twists all evidence he sees until he is convinced it actually proves him right.

IMO, If h1 actually wanted IF to lose he would be talking about how that boulder was obviously meant to be 100 times denser than normal rock and judging by the ease that it was thrown, Kurse is obviously in the hundred thousand ton strength range.

How much force does it take to knock Mjolnir out of the air? Give a range. If such a range isn't known then it's faulty to argue that IF can't do it.
