Yeah, he declared people who he planned on attacking as enemies of the state and took their guns and then the people he planned on taking out to prevent resistence weren't able to effectively fight back which made his path much, much easier. Your policy of taking the guns of anyone who's not a cop would make it even easier than Hitler had it. I mean how much resistance do you think the cops who'd rebel against him could provide against the military without backup of some kind?
