JL will beat it. And Wondy was the biggest domestic film of the year. Yes, Spidey beat it WW, but that was to be expected.

Abhi and Golgo were arguing DCEU's first 4 movies made way more than the MCU's first 4, making out the name recognition of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman compared to Marvel Thor and Iron Man (unknowns at the time), had zero impact on the box office.
But Clearly the huge names like Superman, Batman and Spider-Man give a massive natural advantage when it comes to box office.

Wondy being no.1 domestic superhero film of the year (by far) but no. 3 Worldwide just means Wonder Woman did pretty mediocre business internationally. But we have to put it all together to see which was the "biggest" movie of the year. And the clear winner there is Spider-Man, followed closely by Guardians 2.
Justice League will beat it, but it is pretty embarrassing for the DCEU that Spidey bested BvS (both domestic and worldwide btw).
