Exchange rates is a silly excuse given it didn't stop Spidey or GOTG flying past Wonder Woman. The film clearly just wasn't as popular internationally.

Profit for the studio. And I never said wondy is more popular than Spidey international. Spidey is number one. But according to the graph, wondy sells more merchandise than pretty much every solo hero.

Who cares? Dc has more iconic characters. Doesn't diminish their box office performance, nor is it their only reasoning for high performance. Youre only looking at one aspect of it all.

The massive opening weekends followed by poor box office multipliers shows they have been riding off Iconic status's alone.
The MCU had no such Icons. They've given their first attempt at one now with Homecoming and that crushed Wonder Woman at the box office. Even beat BvS.
Like I said JL vs Avengers will be the ultimate test for the DCEU in comparison to the MCU.

Low multipliers don't really tell the whole story. If that were true, then you would have said civil war had bad word of mouth. Wb's marketing has a play in the amount the movies gross. They're one of the best in the game. Overall, DCEU is generating more box office vs MCU first few films.
