Cuba does make a nice breaker for the U.S at times.

It's frankly sickening how politicized everything is these days, and it's even more sickening that people are so politically polarized that they actually wish death and destruction on their political opponents. This is precisely why I don't think it's at all hyperbolic to say that if we continue down the same course of extreme rhetoric and polarization into two sides that hate each other with a passion, we are fermenting the conditions for actual civil conflict/war to manifest.

The hilarious thing is that people who hate Trump personally and want his property to get hit don't take into consideration that Palm Beach is Democratic territory, is part of South Florida which is not coincidentally where a lot of the immigrants, minorities and poor people happen to live. The same is true for Tampa, which is the largest metro area that is in the direct path of the storm. Yes... most of that map is red. Most of those Counties are very sparsely populated and are mostly farmlands. The countryside in Florida is a pretty bleak and brutal swampland, for the most part. Not that many people really want to live there.

Political Leftism is the Fastest Growing Religion in the World now.

I know you want to frame it that way, but you are every bit as guilty as the leftists.

How so?

Ooohh I may make popcorn for this explanation...

You're just the other side of the same coin. I never see you post anything that isn't just trying to agitate your political opponents.

Well that wasn't worth a bag of microwave popcorn at ALL!

Sorry to disappoint you. Basically, when I speak about political ideologies and you latch on to my post and say "yeah, damn leftists" it seems to me that you miss the point. Both sides are becoming more and more radical and unwilling to question their own ideology. The feed on the mutual hatred that each side feels for the other.

I just choose to prefer to think of it as the Fun Side of Politics.
Besides I know that by sharing my TRUE Feelings on subjects isn't going to change any one's mind on this board. So I just say FUG IT and have fun.

DAMN THE LEFTISTS AND FULL ON RIGHT WING AHEAD!!!!!!!

yes, because pointing to the obvious fact that people are becoming politically polarized in a toxic way is "sanctimonious." the only way not to jump on your high horse is to pick a side and fling shit at the enemy.

But Bill...didn't Hilary win Houston in 2016?

Bill Maher explains why Texas shouldn’t receive federal aid after Harvey

“These places that got flooded, like Texas, okay, they have a low tax base,” Maher said. “So, the federal government bails them out. Their governors, their legislators they don’t believe in climate science.”

He continued, “It seems like the responsible folks in this country, the people who pay a little more taxes and the people who believe in climate change are bailing out the people who hate government, except when they need government when they’re in trouble.”

“That seems a little unfair,” he complained. “Suddenly, socialism is not such a bad idea when you’re standing in toxic floodwater.”

Sigh...about that "climate science" :

Bill Nye blames powerful hurricanes on climate change — then a real scientist shuts him down

I don't necessarily say that I'm helping. I'm calling out what I see as poor behavior. You do the same, you just only call out people on the other side of the political aisle.

I think your approach is less conducive to a stimulating discussion than mine is, because damn near every thread on this board devolves into mindless partisan bickering already. All you are doing is piling on.

And it's beyond just partisan, really. It sort of resembles high school cliques tbh. And it's not even just this board, it's a trend that seems to be increasing in the American public in general. I think it is a toxic and potentially dangerous trend.

If I were to only call out the right, then you and Robtard and the other resident leftists would clap for me but the right wingers like Surtur & co would ignore my message. If I were to only call out the left, then the opposite would happen. If I say that both sides are trending towards radicalism and this seems problematic, I am being "sanctimonious." If I call out nobody, then I am being silent. I suppose I prefer being sanctimonious to the alternatives listed above.

And btw I don't have any issue with your behavior, I am not sure why it bugs him so much.

im not saying im helping but im totally helping *uses cherry picked twitter trolls to generalize people* *cries about e-cliques*

get over yourself.

It "Bugs" him because he has no soul. And what with him being empty on the inside, He chooses to fill it wth bugginess.
