It will blow over in time and I'm sure they're not going to hold a grudge over whomever is hired to film GotG3, that person had nothing to do with Gunn being fired.

Hopefully whomever they hire is capable of holding Gunn's vision of the franchise and is similarly liked/loved by the cast.
