The Greastest Displayed Durability...

Hulk...
Thor...
Wolverine...
Apocalypse...
Superman...
Doomsday...

Rank these 6 characters (from greatest to least) as pertains what they have displayed on screen which demonstrates their greatest showing of durability...

Average or low showings are not to be considered here; only each characters very best showing of durability on screen is what is being debated in this thread...

Wolverine - tanked a nuked as well as Dark Phoenix disintegration
Doomsday - tanked a point blank nuke
Superman - tanked a point blank nuke
Thor - tanked bifrost explosion
Hulk - tanked a 30,000 ft fall

Apocalypse - can't recall him enduring anything substantial; he's either protected by his force bubble in the pyramid collapse or he ended up vaped by phoenix

Hulk - tanked a 30,000 ft fall

wouldn't say he tanked that, seeing as he was ko'd and made him revert back to Banner.

"tank" means you walked through it with no damage at all.

example: Hancock tanking a speeding train.

That means the only examples he gave that are legit are Thor and Doomsday

sure.

i didn't call the examples out because i couldn't immediately recall the circumstances.

Word.

Superman was pretty messed up in space after the nuke, Wolverine was damaged heavily by the nuke and Jean but healed pretty quickly from both and Hulk was KO'd from the fall.

Doomsday.

Doomsday-point blank Nuke with no I'll effects and immediate reentry into atmosphere. Seemed unhurt

Thor- point blank Sokovia explosion, as strong or stronger than a nuke, and immediately felt thousands of feet. Was KO'd and had minor scratches, abrasions

Superman- point blank nuclear explosion, was unconscious and did not look like he could withstand another such blast

Hulk-survived a 30'000 foot fall and a hollowed out skycraper collapsing on him.

Apoc- used force fields from what I remember

Wolverine- never tanked anything, was injured to point he would have died if not for regeneration and adamantium bones

Waiting for someone to claim Thor did not take Sokovia exploding.

Can add the World Engine to Superman.

Is that a thing people think? I know that people debated how much he contributed to the blast but not that he didn't take the blast to the face

Some people actually think it.

A certain poster actually claimed that Iron Man protected Thor from the blast

Seems pretty spot on.

If Doomsday was unhurt by the blast he wouldn't have needed to adapt.

Thanks, I think some people are confusing Logan's ability to survive e something with durabiity. Logan's probably been flatlined a couple hundred times in his life. That's just a guess but judging by how he wades into hordes of gunmen I bet it's not far off

Don't remember him adapting to anything. He just got stronger from all energy

There was a Nuke in BVS? Man that movie was so boring even that didn't leave any kind of memory.....

And as for Little Jimmy "tanking" Jean's dark phoenix attack....I bet she wasn't really trying to kill him because she wanted him in her panties.

Remember that time in X2 a cop shot Wolverine in the forehead and nothing happened?

Heh, me neither.

I don't recall, did the movie actually state he was getting stronger because he absorbed the nuke's energy.
