We go way back to Rocky, you have a white underdog vs a black champion, white guy surprises black guy so much they have a rematch.
White champion vs super hungry motivated streets Black guy, Rock has to remember he was that streets guy too poor to afford much and hungry for the win.
Rocky 4 was a pooitical statement, USA vs Russia, US wins, duh.
Rocky 5 is retired guy trains young guy who he thought reminded him of himself, of course there's betrayal and a fight, much drama wow.
Rocky 6 is ancient white boxer comes back for one last fight against another black guy, oooh who's going to win.
Now we're at Creed, we have this long line of white vs black and incidental stuff and we've removed the main character Stallone who is the reason why anyone wants to watch these dumb movies.
You take the underdog white boxer element out of this formula and all you have left is regular boxing, who the fvck wants to watch that shit?

So once again they've changed a comic book character who is a white male into a black female.
I really want to see this movie bomb harder than any movie in history, I hope it annihilates any interest in Captain Marvel forever.
