Regarding Digi's Draft for Dr. Strange.
Short answer: Its a valid draft. Though Digi may look to switch his draft out.
Long Awnser: Its a valid draft. Despite my emphasis on forum rules, Philo is right in a few observations. I did cave in on some requests regarding Shields, Arena, and Dr. Strange.
Shields: the forum rules are very clear on how Shields are treated at the start of the battle. However I see that there is a conflict on some characters are able to come with protection and others not due to the auto-shields clause. To help streamline and eliminate an unnecessary headache, I simply allowed characters to come in with shields if they have the power to do so.
Arena: Originally I wanted this to be the size of a City. A very large City. Forum rules keeps these matches in a city unless the OP says otherwise. But some feel the City is to Small considering the players are so strong. I dont buy it, but I caved. Now the Arena is the size of Earth.
Dr. Strange: I agree with Philo that Dr. Strange is not High Herald. But again forum rules. We had a tier thread. Majority rule states he is High Herald for X reason. We voted on it, majority vote won its place. So even if I disagree, its in the Tier list because of it. Our official tier list should be held under what is allowed on the Forum Rules clause. Dr. Strange is not the only sore thumb sticking out. Phoenix II, Zoom (coughcarvercough), Photon - Genis, etc.. are also characters who I consider above the High Herald Class. But I will not invalidate these drafts if members decided to pick on them due to their official Tier Placement.
And lastly. This tourney is for kicks and lolz. Its not a serious tourney, like previous ones. Just try not to take things to serious, and have fun with it. I know this can be tough, we tend to be super competitive. 😮

I have zero issues with Dr Strange as a pick.
As long as Digi limits it to showings when he wasn't at his Sorceror Supreme levels.
The vote was back in 2013, when Strange had lost his title, had loads of low showings, and was nowhere near his Classic levels.
It's like me swapping my pick out for Zauriel, who technically is a Low Herald.
Except he can now go around ending the Phantom Stranger and erase him from existence, if needed.
