Man don't flip the page. Defend this, go on...

I do think it is wrong to spend the money on legal defenses. However, I also find it wrong to list stuff like the painting or bronco helmet without the context behind it.

Because we all know that without that context people will 100% assume he just took from the foundation for utterly selfish reasons. But that isn't what he did. The painting, for instance, was painted by a speed painter in 6 minutes. It wasn't worth anything close to 20k. Trump bought it for that amount because he knew it would go to charity.

You see this is the problem with what people do with Trump. Your point would have been best made by the legal defense spending. You chose to more or less misrepresent times the guy gave to charity as some purely selfish endeavor. If all Trump wanted was a painting of himself he didn't need to spend 20 grand.

Dunno, but the article says she's giving the amounts her campaigned received to a charity instead. So what's the problem other than your expected usual antics? How better to use a scumbag's money but for a good cause. Give that money to an anti-rape culture foundation I say.

Why donate the money to a foundation in another country when there are foundations in America to donate to?

Ok. So you agree with me?

Like I said, I do not feel he should have used funds on a legal defense. I have zero problems with the buying stuff from charity though.

Out of curiosity, what do you think about the claims the Clinton Foundation f*cked over Haiti? Do you feel they did anything inappropriate in that entire ordeal?

Because being selfish is bad. Love thy neighbor. Spread the wealth. America has a lot, other countries have less... Dude, there's like a million reasons.

Okay so did you want to maybe rephrase this? Because to me it comes off like you're saying it would be selfish to donate to charities in America. I am sure that is not what you intended to say.

We are America. Donating to ourselves is important, because charity begins at home. But neglecting everyone else and focusing only on our own prosperity is selfish.

Here's everything on the Clintons and Haiti. Their crime was spending most of the relief funds on American organizations rather than local Haitian organizations. So instead of funding the Haitian government to repair itself, the Clintons chose to spend the money paying the US military to hand out water bottles in Haiti.

Now this is clearly America-first politics, which I agree is crappy in the midst of a crisis. But I'd have thought you'd be all for it?

Fair enough.

I am not "all for it". I am indeed in favor of giving to charities in this country and that is commendable of the Clinton Foundation if they do that. But it seems like they told people the money would go to Haiti and in reality a majority of it did not. That is all kinds of wrong. Do you think that what Trump did with the legal defenses is worse than what they did to Haiti during a crisis?

And wait a minute, hasn't Hilary criticized Trump for his "America First" stuff? Even implied it's racist?

Hillary Clinton has played her fair share of politics, she's not perfect. That's certainly true. Honestly, the Haiti stuff is sh!tty politics. Seems like Hillary Clinton was trying to score political points by paying Americans to fix Haiti instead of paying Haitians to fix Haiti.

But equivocating Hillary Clinton with the absolute sh!tbag named Donald is the greatest trick the GOP pulled.

Btw, Trump's handling of Puerto Rico right now is going terribly. And Puerto Rico is actually a PART of the USA. These are American citizens dying in Puerto Rico... The Trump stuff is NOT regular politics.

Lol but wait...the Haiti thing DOES make them sound like the same kind of shitbag as Donald Trump IMO.

As for Puerto Rico, can you be specific? I know the one mayor woman is saying stuff like that, but I also know other people in Puerto Rico(another mayor, for starters) have contradicted her. From what this cop who is there was saying these problems are due more to internal problems within Puerto Rico and less to do with the Trump administration.

To be fair I haven't been following it super closely so there could be stuff that has come out that shows Trump is messing up.
