Apparently 8 or 9 of the top 10 violent crime leading states in the US are Republican run. I.E. are typically more religious/conservative.
What if our recordings were wrong though, what if we had no idea how long people have existed? What historical stamps do we have to go on? We are now finding out that there was another age of humans that existed way before the pharaohs of Egypt.
