IOW, my analogy is wrong because it doesn't fit your theory. Ok.
It's wrong because you are interpretating what's happening on panel to fit with your narrative...
It's wrong because the scale is trmendously different than failing at pushing a few kilos at the gym...
Do you understand how many levels already separate a few of those heroes from a Skyfather ?
Do you understand how many levels of power-difference there is between the 3 most powerful Skyfathers combining their powers to fight Arishem thus being threated like insects ?
Do you understand the massive difference in power between those Skyfathers and the 4th Celestial Host ?
Do you understand the massive power difference between the 4th Celestial Host and Exitar ???

[B]So you're fitting it to your narrative of Sentry being beyond all this, lol.
I am not.
Sentry has been stated to be the most powerful man in existence many times and to have limitless power so seeing him to do that kind of stuff is normal for him.
You forget the amping power of Hulk there.
I didn't forget it.
Rogue was pushing with all her might and the power of all Heroes and amping it with Hulk's power and that was still not enough to even slow down Exitar...
He didn't even notice her because she was meaningless.
Which enables a puny human Banner to fight gods. Fight Skyfathers, some would say.
Which allows Banner to be godstomped effortlessly by Zeus. Thanks for remembering us that.
Imagine if you placed that on top of every hero and villain.
I don't have to imagine.
Rogue with all of that power was nothing to Exitar.
Sentry was able to stop his descent.
That way beyond Thanos & PF Thane.

I recently came round to the spotter's theory.Say you're benching your max...and then above your max. You're losing it, and the bar is coming down onto you.
Your spotter steps in, and helps out. Together, you lift the bar back onto it's rack. Hooray!
So Sentry could be the spotter here.
Originally posted by tkitnaRW brought it up as he lives by it. The point of using that feat as a average for Sentry physically is BS as there are loads of other example in which he doesn’t come close to doing what he did in the microverse.
Again, why are you so hung up on damage output? Where did that even come from?Yeah, the Genis fight was a good feat, whats your point anyways? The Sentry is portrayed as being a character with incredible power. Its why he has been described by Emma Frost as pretty much being God. Reed Richards has called him the greatest hero ever. Every known earth based hero is pretty much scared shittless of him. Its why he's called upon when theres problems nobody else can handle. To downplay any of that, as you do, is just showing your bias hatred and,,,,stupidity. He's an extremely powerful character. Deal with it.
So lip service means something now? Everything you just said has been said about Thanos barring the hero part( he has been labelled no 1 villain etc)

Great analogy there bro. Rogue did the pushing and Sentry helped with the rest. Makes sense.
Wrong analogy. Rogue attempt was completely useless to stop Exitar.
Also we shouldn't forget that he was struggling and it was a great effort for him to be a spotter.
*sigh*
Sentry IS the reason why Exitar's descent was stopped.
The power of all Earth heroes amped by Hulk in Rogue wasn't a factor.
Sentry come and stop him to a standstill.
And how was the Celestial defeated btw? Did he survive? Retreat? Did Sentry kill him or banish him instantly with his MM powers?
It's nice that you have an opinion on a story you didn't read...

Do you truly believe that a Phoenix Avatar, and Thanos would be unable to do any harm to DS Sentry? In all honestly, the power range in this thread is too high for any one person to 100% certain of the outcome. The Molecule Man that held the old 616 Universe in a shoe box was certainly above anything that DS Sentry has shown on panel, or do you disagree with this and believe that he is Owen's peer? If he is, then enough said, this is a slaughter and should have never become a topic of debate. However there is little to no proof to say that he would tower over guys in Lifebringer Galactus' weight class. You saying so just won't cut it.

The Owen that you are talking about is the one that Sentry beat in Dark Avengers.
PF Thane and God Carry Thanos are stomped badly.
