Regardless of what happened later his concept was Metron , no bs from you can change that. Starlings own bio says such.
Dunno why I can't quote Insane Titan....****ing annoying.Anyway, you are wrong, period. Starlin designed Thanos after Metron AT FIRST...but he ended up making him after Darkseid when it was all said and done. He admits as much in the interview. No one compares Thanos to Metron you goof. It's Thanos and Darkseid.
As far as Doom, um; again you are completely off your rocker and apparently know nothing of the character other than just parroting what other people say.
I can list many Doom storylines where he outdoes Richards. Secret Wars, Emperor Doom, Loftier than Mortals...etc...
Either way, the villains never TRULY win anyway, so your very point is retarded. Just admit you're wrong and move on it'll do you good.
In every instance you name Doom either needs help or still loses to Teedinthe End.
😂 at you trying to act all smart but failing just like Doom. Thanos wins by achieving what he sets out to do ie infinity gauntlet , cosmic cube, Herat of the universe , Thanos imperative ....the list goes on

IMO The only Avengers villains that could get me as hyped as Thanos are Doom and Galactus. Marvel getting the rights to FF back needs to happen ASAP. Their rogues gallery isn't anything to scoff at

1. Thanks for the kind term of endearment...you're clearly very flustered.
2. Again, in the very interview we're both discussing Jim admits that Thanos was "beefed up" to mirror Darkseid...and from there he became the Marvel equivalent....Not sure WHY you cannot grasp that. Blinded by fanboy rage I guess.
3. Wrong again. Doom doesn't "Lose" in Loftier than Mortals, and I'd argue he doesn't really lose in secret wars either. If Doom "Loses" in Secret Wars than Thanos sure the hell lost in Infinity Gauntlet.
4. You listing off Thanos' achievements is pointless, I know what both he AND Doom have accomplished in their histories. Both have been God Like beings multiple times in their history.
5. Again, I've said MULTIPLE times by now that Thanos>> Doom when it comes to innate power levels. No one argues against that. Also, Thanos is 99% of the time more powerful than Doom. But power alone does not make a great villain. Luckily for both, they BOTH have incredible stories and feats in their histories.

Originally posted by Firefly218Hmmm, I know Disney used him In Avengers Assemble and that was pretty amazing. I'd love to see that type of brawl with a Super villain on the big screen in the MCU. Thanos will most likely deliver that.
Unfortunately no it was pretty lame, he was a one-off in season 1. It shows his origin and then SHIELD locks him away in some vault and he has yet to return
Thanos = Darkseid? Not quite. Let's remember Jim Starlin later created Mongul for DC, and he admitted he was ripping off his creation Thanos.
You can see it on the surface - except Thanos gets proper respect from Marvel and rarely gets chumped. Darkseid spent too many decades getting solo'd by Superman, because DC Editorial can't stand having Kal-El get his ass handed to him (except when it's by Batman.) 😛
@CPT Space Bum No it’s just dealing with retards does this to people.
There is countless interviews and even on hims own bio page where he says he created Thanos based off Metron. It’s not my fault you are to stupid to understand that if he hasn’t of come up with the idea to base Thanos on someone he wouldn’t of been created. What Starlin was told to do years AFTER his creation isn’t the point.
Doom lost in secret wars and still needed others help. In IG Thanos set out to collect the gems and replace Eternity, which he did.
Rest of your post means nothing to me.
If they do bring X-Men back (as unlikely as it is), they need to, imo, start fresh. (Almost) Clean slate. No previous directors, no previous actors bar MAYBE Fassbender and McAvoy.
F4, I think is a more realistic prospect, and I hope we finally get the good kooky sci-fi the F4 is capable of giving us.

Think they’d recast everyone, except perhaps Deadpool. But then Deadpool would probably just get the axe.
Yeah Find it hard to believe Fox is just gonna hand over all these huge movie properties with the deal.
