Glad to see so many positive views of ep1, a good sign.

How was the directing (Filonis first shot at live action). Seen reviews where they say the pacing was a bit jarring at times.

People are always going to nitpick.

Filoni did just fine with this episode, imo.

Does anyone know if the Disney+ app from Android is compatible with Chromecast?

I thought it was pretty fun. Seeing an IG-series droid go all ham like that was awesome and something I've always wanted to see.

I already knew about the "twist" before hand but still thought it pretty great with tons of story telling potential. It's really kinda sad to see how a single episode of this show manages to more deftly and creatively use the existing universe to tell an interesting story than the sequel films.

The twist was kinda weird imo but I enjoyed the first episode.
