I've made it clear that it's not unusual for a spouse to believe their wives/husbands side of the story and argue in their defense, from that mindset. Though it seems to happen more on the side of the husband being the dirtbag and the wife believing his narrative of the extramarital sexual events.

I believe Backfire chimed in and made a "par for the course" comment and used Roy Moore's wife as an example. Moore's a scumbag, but we don't berate his wife because she believes his side of the story, cos she's his wife.

Clearly not a false dilemma.

You either believe the accusers or you don't. If you do believe them but choose to disagree with some things, that's okay, but you've yet to make that point.

I can give you a way out of this dodging mess.

Is it a third option? You believe the accusers about the sexual assault/rape but not about the Hillary Threats and enabling?

I don't see anyone calling Moore's wife a rape-enabler because she defends Moore's side of the story. I certainly have not attacked her at least.

If she believed her husband’s story, that he only had extramarital affairs but didn’t rape anyone, then fighting the rape accusations is not rape enabling.

It was threats and enabling. Not that she was defending her man. That's not possible in this situation. You have to either believe the accusations or not...or...as I've provided above, a third option where you believe the stuff about Bill but not Hill.
