No ones denying anything (Who is sane. We know who the exception is..)

We have a problem with guns. And nothing we can really do about it.

Not legally, anyways.

If only there were examples we could draw upon for possible assistance. If only....

Such as?

What are your suggestions for solving the problem?

Nobody denies the existence of the problem, what they disagree on is the payoff of such policies and whether or not the benefit (if any) is too marginal to be worth the personal liberty that would be sacrificed for the law.

Plus the fact gun rights are constitutional, and the US has way too many lawyers willing to defend it.

And I mean Democrats too. Lawyers are a special breed who ignore partisan barriers in pursuit of a paycheck and prestige (Meaning they want to win, even if their client is Hitler or Satan..)

uh oh it's looking like he might be a trumper.

The thoughts and prayers don't seem to be working guys.

Hating on lawyers is a bi-partisan issue. 😛

That's the real reason it's almost impossible to make any worthwhile changes. This country has way too many lawyers, and they cause as many problems as they solve.

And the politicians are too spineless to make an amendment.

Good luck. It's the only profession in this country that's entirely self regulated by people who used to be lawyers. You can sue a doctor for malpractice a hell of a lot easier then you can get a lawyer for much of anything.

And hey, you could get into politics. 😉

There have been 18 school shootings in 2018. WE ARE ONLY IN FEBRUARY. There have been 18 school shootings in 2018 and we’re only in February

Anyone who doesn’t think gun control is worth a try is fuccking insane or evil

What are you suggestions?

I’m no expert, but maybe get rid of these kinds of rifles?

Better background checks would be nice too

Stop being dense. Background check doesn’t work if you want to get you’re weapon of the black market. It seems people forget this one fact every time guns are brought up.

Senseless killings is wrong, but to pretend more gun related laws are magically going to fix the problem is idiotic.

In England, gun laws are stricker than the US, but they by pass the guns laws with acid attacks.

Your last sentence is an accidental argument in favor of gun control actually working.

They can't get guns, so they use a less deadly weapon. That's the whole point of gun control, so that it's harder for people who want to cause harm to others to get guns.

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy are you against trying? If it doesn't work, no harm done. Right? America is the only civilized place where these mass shootings happen so frequently. Why not give strict gun control a try, even if there's 2% chance it'll prevent the next shooting

👆

Knives and acid attacks don't instantaneously kill 17 people. Only guns do that.

It's a surprisingly common and humorous argument.

"Well gun laws don't work, because then instead of guns they just use a knife".

Yeah, that's called an improvement. Sounds like gun control working to me.
