Every single one of these guns are AR-15s. Only the San Bernadino gun is a variant of the AR-15 called the M-16...

Once again, you're a petty liar

IOW, you had to change your argument from AR-15 to AR-15 type rifle. just like I said.

Do better reasearch next time.

Nope, all those weapons are literally AR-15s dude. Don't weasel out of this one. A Bushmaster is literally just another AR-15. If you didn't know, AR-15 is a category of weapons.

The only exception is the San Bernadino one is a M-16 variant of AR-15, which should also be taken away.

And you spelled research wrong twice whilst you were being a petty b!tch so good job

No, they're not. you're just proving that you don't have the first clue about guns.

He said "these types of guns", not AR-15's.

Ah, correcting a spelling mistake, the favorite tactic of person who just got their ignorance pointed out and needs something to make themselves fell better.

Dude you can stop lying. And being pedantic and petty is a trolling tactic I'm very well familiar with, so at this point I'll just let the facts do the talking.

The Bushmaster XM-15[4] series (formerly styled as XM15[2]) is a line of AR-15-pattern semi-automatic rifles, carbines, and pistols manufactured by Bushmaster Firearms International.

Actually, he said kinds. not types. and that was after incorrectly ID'ing them as AR-15s

Maybe you should read better next time 👆

The AR in AR-15 stands for Armalite, which is a specific brand. people misusing the term doesn't change anything.

I provided you with the links that prove each of my claims and you're gonna keep lying...

Providing links where people misuse to term just proves you didn't do the 30 seconds of research needed to learn that AR actually refers to Armalite.

So you're gonna keep being a petty liar?

The AR-15 was developed in the late 1950s as a civilian weapon by Eugene Stoner, a former Marine working for small California startup called ArmaLite (which is where the AR comes from). The gun, revolutionary for its light weight, easy care and adaptability with additional components, entered the mainstream in the mid-1960s, after Colt bought the patent and developed an automatic-fire version for troops in Vietnam, called the M16.

The civilian model wasn’t mass produced until the 1980s, after the original patent expired and a variety of companies began making them. That transformed a specific brand to a more generic offering on which a mini-industry would flourish.

So, while calling me a liar. you post info that actually proves I'm right about AR standing for Armalite.

Good job 👆

Wow. You're going into the etymological origins of the words in order to prove me wrong... This is the essence of pettiness.

AR-15s historically got their name from the inventor company Armalite that's true, but the patent expired and now the exact same gun is mass produced by other companies like Bushmaster.

And those folks in the gun business decided to make AR-15 the broad term for all these guns, not me.

So please stop lying now, it's over.

Bump

AR-15 is a trademarked name, it has a legal meaning. You're just butt-hurt that you didn't know that.
